1st grow which strain to grow?

About to do my first hydro grow and have everything pretty much planned out on paper (everything always looks good on paper lol) the one thing that I can't make my mind up is what strain to go with on my first try. Set up is gonna be a kind of a top drip bubble system with 5 plants and 400w light MH first then HPS. All I'm looking for is easy to grow and a fast seed to harvest for my first time? Leaning toward AK48? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to the Farm, AK48 is as good as the next strain I guess, if your main worry is flowering time then prob best stick to an Indica or mostly Indica strain, they usually finish quicker than Sativas.

I think AK48 is like 60% Indica, other than that I don't know much more about it.

lots of 8 week strains out there to try.

Hey Bro, i just went thru the same think with my 1st ever grow.... and if u want my opinion the best thing to do for ur 1st grow is get seeds that are breed by someone u can talk to aka a breeder on one of the forums..... it makes it much easier when u can ask question to the person who made ur seeds lol i would go with something from Karma, Mosca, or Connoisseur... there stuff is dank and there all on here all the time

I'm growing some Kong from Holy smoke in rockwool right now and like it so far. I hear it has a pretty huge following in Europe. Big, resinous yield with some crazy CBD action goin' on. Can't wait 4 Harvest!!! :harvest:

Hey!!

I'm on my second grow atm. Doing 2x AK48's and 3x Big Buddha Cheisel.

Good times!!

However I grew Greenhouse Train Wreck for my first go and that was brilliant and well easy in a grow environment far less superior to yours listed above.

The AK48's are doing very well too and I'm on a 250watt, in a jardin DR80 grow tent.

I'd recommend either the AK or the TW.
