Th Seeds DarkStar Week 5

Well to day I had to tie up many lower branches due to weight, they are around an 1.25" in diameter. They seemed to have swelled about .25" with in the last 24 hours, this would indicate that the plant has entered it's second stage of flower growth. As we all know this plants have three stages of flower growth.

I can't wait to see the final sage of growth in the last 3 weeks. I have upped the nutrients to an EC of 4.5 and my pH is still around 5.7 to 6.0. I have not used any pH down this whole run.

I have not flushed this system out since I started on July 4 2010, as you can see by keeping the reservoir temps low and cycling the water threw a main reservoir has aloud the water to stay active and DO is high because of the low water temps.

I don't worry about salt build up due to a couple of things, one is the Mycorrhizal Fungi and the Beneficial Bacteria, with the Humic acid that I have added in the start of week 1. I threw a new sponge in the reservoir to give a place for the Beneficial Bacteria a place to breed by doing this I only had to inoculate once in week 1. The Humic acid helps break down the ammoniacal nitrates from building up and the bugs convert it to usable ION to the plant.

Week 3 Gooey Super Skunk


As you can see in week 3 the gooey super skunk is starting to fill in nice. I knew nothing about this strain cross until l it was given to be by a local breeder and asked me to play with it.I like this plant for a sea of green application.

Well here it is week 6 of the 10 week Darkstar, I woke up this morning and found most of my branches laying flat. So I went out and bought 16" steel rings with steel netting opening.

I went out and got this 16" round tomato hangers from homedepot, they have 15 open spots for buds to go into as the grow. They are made out of powder coated steel.

Potassium Silica is what helps the plant do well in high heat. I do not run Co2 at all.

Sorry i have been gone for the last couple of weeks working but here is the photos of the harvest of the 2 DarkStars from week 10.

I don't see any purple coloring if that's what you are asking, she does have a taste of kush from what I have tasted from the scissor scrapings, and she is strong.
