Hey, this is my second small scale grow and since the first did not turn out as well as I had hoped I figured I would start a grow diary to document what I was working on and get some feedback from the community. I am using a 400w HPS with fox farm ocean forest along with big bloom and tiger bloom. I am hand watering and generally use big bloom every other feeding. My ph is generally 6.5 to 7. Temps from 77- 85 (It has gotten to 87 or so but I recently improved the cooling and now it usually tops out around 83). I am growing 4 Super Skunks (45 day Hybrid, like "GreenCrack" with a more skunky smell- was the description I got) and 1 grape ape x c99 pineapple. The grape is the one in the white pot that is the largest. The first 5 pictures are of them 4 days into veg and the next 5 are of them a week into veg. I figure I will give updates every week unless an issue comes up. I am just a beginner and appreciate any feedback.

Cheers,

Dingo

...checking out the superskunk.

a few things came to mind, just an idea.

Ocean Forest is pretty hot out the bag, you shouldn't need to add any ferts for a couple weeks at that size.

A scrub/rinse/bleaching/rinse of the pots is always a good idea when reusing plastic pots..

looking good so far

Yep I agree with Albert, no nutes for at least couple weeks, looks good tho! Always half strength on the ferts to start, then work up, easier to add then to take away. Try Happy Frog when you get or start your clones, not as hot out of the bag. Imo. Watch those pots you have some salt build up, keep an eye on those. Not harping on you but Cleanliness is next to Godliness, saves you troubles in the long run. I'm just anal about my room, its hospital clean. I've learned the hard way and will save you some troubles. I'm looking forward to the grape ape x c99, sounds tasty! Good luck Dingo....

That shit is the truth. Alot of problems will be avoided just by keeping your room AND it's surroundings crispy clean. Like he said, no harsh, just help. Stay up
