All I can say is WOW! and I should have went to collage. I love your setup.

Did you get you H&G nutes from a hydro shop in MI?
I have been wanting to try them.

there are tons of results of failed grows due to STG being used but i dont know how many are on the farm search around all the majors and i'll 100% positive you will find many. lots to do with the water retention of the bottom 1/3 or so and it sounds like the Hail cubes may be different.

either way great job on the room setup and equipment choices!

Yeah. I hope there isn't any issues. The STG most people are referring to are large pieces of STG with the plants cut into a hole in the middle of the buckets. They are completely different grow systems and maybe there was an issue with nutes effecting the plastic. I hope hail cubes are safe and reliable.

Checked the roots last night and lower cubes look fine. If I wasn't using the cubes I would be using some sort of packaging peanuts that don't leach into water. Although seeing the size and considering the weight of the plants. It may be difficult to find peanuts that can withstand it. Next year I will take the time to do further testing on mediums with trial and error.

I just want to make it through this grow for now!

My cheesus babies are looking good man. Not quite are good as the LA Confidential and Confidential Cheese, but pretty good none the less. ;)

I cant wait to see what the mystery strain turns out to be, (if it makes it!) im thinking its something besides vortex though, its looking to bushy. Might just have to wait till it flowers and do some side by side comparisons.

Yeah, where we got the clones can only be so many strains. We should be able to figure it out by harvest.

Hey F1,

Looking good, hopefully they come out of that nute burn ready to rock. How are you liking the portable A/C's so far?

I'll snap some pics of the nutrient burned ones today when I get home. It's been 48 hours since I drained it and filled it with fresh water and nutrients at 550-700ppm. They still looked rough but better yesterday.

The A/C works good, but we also put in twice the BTU's needed to cool the room. Initially we were gonna add CO2 soon and figured we had a few weeks to set it up. But Day 2-3 the water was creeping up to 78-80 degrees and we panicked and got the a/c in there.

I hope after water chiller and CO2 is added we won't need the a/c at all and can sell it to get a couple dehumidifiers.

Last night also added a couple 4" Air Stone disks to see if they make a difference over the 6" Air Stone rails that come with the UC. You could already see a big difference in the air diffusion.

Looks good! Yeah, we wanted to put an air stone in the 2 - 55 gallons we added last week, so we put the new 4" stones in the system and pulled 2 out and stuck them in the tanks.

Just a tip on air stones (from my aquarium days) you let them soak for 30 minutes before running air in them and they don't bounce all over.

Feel free to ask any questions. We could actually fit 16 buckets in each room. (92 sq ft each room) I am more than glad to help you out as much as possible. In my signature the construction build out is more detailed than on this page.
