wait... so on both rooms you spent over 9k... that seems a bit expensive from what you have listed? I am building a five k vert room and have spent around 6k for everything including chiller, and ac...

your plants look great by the way. Sucks about nute burn. I run half strength canna for veg and flower and are doing well.

Dollar amount F1 Is quoting is every screw and 2x4 used to build these rooms, not just hardware for the grow operation. All walls are built to code, electrical is done to code. I found out doing things proper costs $$$

Well you may have gotten different brands? Have less equipment? There is a bunch of small things I didn't list because it wasn't really necessary. You should look up what we bought and what it costs versus what you bought and what you paid...

We didn't skip out on anything. There was no "making it work" here.

At the time it was in a closet, probably in the mid to high 70's using a T5 fixture with at least 5 lights, 4-6" above plants. I explained the rest in an earlier post #35

Yes the temp rises with pump constantly on. You want the water fill right up to the sprayers. It will maintain the temp.

JACK posted that he found a timer with on 2 minutes off 5 worked best to keep the water cool. He has tried water chillers and everything in between and prefers the timer.

Yeah dude, I didn't build my shit to code and it's still moronically expensive.

Started out with a budget of $4K and am well over $10K now...........for 2400 watts :angry

Like you, decided to spend the money upfront instead of putting it off.

Plants still look great.

Thanks for the support!

I'm rooting for the mystery strain!

Probably some good stuff if we can dial it in!

This is thefirst time I've seen your set up Dave. Nice job! Kiling it so far! Way to roll with the punches.

Thanks for posting the link to calibrating the PPM3 on my thread. I had already done it but your help is appreciated. Mine also read 800 or so ambient CO2 PPM. I also bought mine used. Payed 400 for both PPM3 and Gen 1. You got the better deal with the Gen 2 though. No pilot light, you're dialed!

I also run the Danby portable A/C. Great machine so far except it does pull air into my room even though my air supply hose is vented from outside room. Inotices on your machine you have that hose disconnected. Why? Are you using your room air as supply air?

The roots on your clones look crazy! Great results for first time. Mine hang down more, yours stick out like cactus spines. Do you use roots excelurator?

Yes, we are using the air in the room to be cycled thru to be cooled and dehumidified. After all you want to cool the air in the room, might as well exchange it too. The exhaust line is vented outside of room to a duct line ran to a basement window to outside (It has an Y with a vent flip that can redirect air into a house vent to the master bedroom too, free heat). Does that answer your question?

Oh yeah, we aren't running the CO2 yet and have been trying to tackle this issue recently. With the A/C in there, in theory it will suck the CO2 out of the room, lol.

CLONES:
We used CloneX Gel and Solution at the time. Next round we will still use the gel, but probably use Root Excelerator. Haven't thought about it much, we still have 3/4 full bottle of CloneX, I think.

Here is a response I gave someone yesterday regarding the EZ-Clone System and ours.

Dave if you attach the fresh air hose to your a/c and route the hose to take air from outside the room you can run CO2 without having much CO2 wasted. The screen on the back side of your a/c does take air in air from your room, but not too much. I think that air is actually blown back out the vent as cold air. Most of the air your machine blows out comes from the intake port which is the hose you don't have attached.

FYI, I used 5 in. insulated ducting to rout my hoses through the ceiling into the atic and directed the exhaust toward the attic vent. 5 in. ducting fits perfectly on those hoses. Got it at H. Depot.

Thanks a lot Ben!! You were right! Huge difference in both rooms!!:friday:

thanks for the clone info dave!

NP, we are all here to learn from one another.

Thanks St3ve!

Do you know if we would lose the ability to regulate humidity in that instance? The plants are so big now that humidity is already becoming an issue that needs to stay regulated. LOL.

beautiful set up. im looking to get a UC my self.

Its great! You will love it! When adding Nutes, less is more!

:bongsmi:I have a danby also.. great machine. When its cold enough you could switch to dehumid mode to get the numbers your looking for. I also have a dehumidifier, the only bummer is that it puts out some extra heat. THeres no ducting needed with a dehumid either.
