2011 outdoor grow......huge obstacle in my way

Hi everybody I am in the process of starting my 2011 outdoor grow but I am facing a huge obstacle that is threatening my entire season. I live in the middle of a farm surrounded by fields and every day workers drive by on tractors that are just high enough to see over the fenceline. I was thinking about building a PVC greenhouse or something to obstruct the workers view but even then there isn't really an effective way to hide the smell. I have seen the workers toking up on there breaks and I have put too much time and effort into this for it all to get jacked by some asshole who can't afford his own stash. :harvest: if anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated. if you put it in a green house then just make a convinsing atempt at a vegitable patch with pee plants and tomatos around the weed plants in the midle of the greenhouse, outdoor bud never pongs to much because its still outdoor in our climate and not grown to its best but still my point is that the smell and look wil be masked with bothe a vegetable garden with herbs and a greenhouse with only leagal crops visibal, alternitively, and you could do both to see witch you find better, you could find a wood, a spot you can drive or walk to that has beter altitude and better discrepancy. i have started a 30 plant grow from seed that is up a wood and is going great. it would seem tho that the best option you would have to keep the workers from catching on would be this, simply germinate and half vege your seed, let it grow to its second set of branches and then at night take them up the woods, they wont smell at this point and they wont be such a worry, plus after the second set of branches develope you will only need to water once every week, im use this method and it saves a lot of time and efort pluss it gives the true outdoor hardy charicteristics, big deep root base, thick stem, healthy leaf and last but not least fuckin nice smoke

26" bonsai bush bagseed( smells like gummy peach rings)
18" bonsai clone
10" casey jones clone
6-8" bagseed sprouts x4
3" lavender seedling
One more undecided strain what's fire and has a good yield outdoor?

I have a sideyard that is 11'x36' that I can build a greenhouse about 11'x24' to allow 6' on both ends of corn or peas or whatever vegetables I want. Ha at the end of the season I will get weed and munchies to go with it.

Bro, sounds like you're going to just have set up some good security. Google "wireless driveway alarm", you will see at the top of the page they have some vendors who offer them at under $20. They have a 400' range and work VERY WELL. We have used them at our greenhouse for a while. Grab a few of these and you're set. Make sure someone is ALWAYS home when you have buds growing. Get a couple dogs too!! Dogs are great theft deterrents, most people who would jump your fence to snip some buds are pussy's they will turn and run when confronted by a dog who wants to bite their ass, seen it happen :) lol. Another thing that isn't bad - Taser. Guns and weed may not go together, but they never said anything about Taser's.
Anyhow, good luck with your grow this year, stay positive and bad shit doesn't happen :)

Find a different area bro. If you house is surrounding by fields, and tractors, im guessing you live in a rural area. Establish your plants indoors or nearby your place in some high grass, and then move them on down the road, or wherever security isnt so much of an issue.

you havent heard of a pee plant? well i spose you also dont have any idea about how plants help eachother by nitrogen and other nutrition transfers by either carbon dioxide or nutritional releaes into the soil, so yeah pee plants, look it up. also i dont know or care what country you come from but putting a few new dogs, gaurding a patch of land with unkle sam sitin on the porche 24 7 strokin his tazer watchin the boys walk past with an angry expression on his face, has to be the most red neck fuck wad plan i have heard, never keep the grow near land you are acountable for, you stupid hill billy dum ass

Well I am going to need a pretty good line of defense to complete this. I put the casey jones outside today and every workers head that went by was on a pivot looking straight at her. Im thinking this.....greenhouse surrounded by all sorts of legal crops, dog walking the perimeter of the greenhouse, fake cameras( cause my poor ass can't afford the real deal lol) and tripwire alarms that make a high pitch frequency that will scare the piss out of anybody who's brave enough to hop my fence. If that's not enough then I would love to know what is.

LOL I was laughing at how you spelled "PEE" you fucking moron. The plant you're thinking of is a PEA plant. What the fuck are you talking about guarding a patch and blah blah blah.. ??? Of course I'm gonna hold my shit down. I don't have a taser - a taser is a suggestion for a person scared to have a gun around their ganj... Fuck that IMHO I'll stick with my mossbergs! Dogs - well, dogs are more an alarm as well. I wouldn't want my dog to attack someone and possible be shot and killed. I'd rather he bark and let me knwo someone or somthing is moving around and we'll go check it out. I don't play around with security at all. We have someone up at ALL TIMES and come close to harvest we have multiple people in shifts thru out the night.

another idea... I saw you mentioned a trip wire.

get some fishing line and tie a 3 point fishing hook in the line about every foot or so along with some jingle bells or other shit to make some noise, then tie the end of the line to a bag filled with cans thats hanging up somewhere nearby, if anything trips the wire the cans will fall and make noise. . Anyone that walks thru it will not only be heard they will also more than likely have a hook sunken into them.
BTW... Camera are cool, but just stay awake at night. Cameras will show you after the fact. We are looking to PREVENT - not know who did it. Ya know what I mean?
