good luck guys. We're pullin for ya down here and hopin we don't face a similar fate soon.

Crazy Horrible stuff fight for your rights, before you don't have anything to fight for people.....

Just refuse to pay taxes until America stops STARTING wars and decriminalizes MJ, its an option, that when done in the masses will work.

Just a thought 2 chew on....

We are dealing with lots of negative hype here in Montana primarily from Lee Enterprises, they own every major newspaper in Montana and appear to be motivated by some sort of religious agenda, one in which attempts to demonize all those that are involved with Medical marijuana. In reality mmj has done wonders for our economically strapped state, and regardless of all the negative publicity we will make it out of this victorious, we have one hell of a governor that will be vetoing these ridiculous religious morons view of legislation.
Now more than ever I predict that nothing will happen with mmj until 2012, when the voters will have a chance to decide again on how they feel about mmj.

I sure hope your right sav. The gov is gonna have the last say. Our legislature has alternative motives and are being driven by outside interested parties with big money. Didn't the people of Montana vote in favor for MMJ? I think it's time to overhall the government. I'm getting taxed without representation. Oh yeah.....fuk Lee Enterprises, I hope they sink with the rest of them.

isnt your law a constitutional amendment?......IOW its not quite as simple as a simple majority to overturn your law.

you are right Cheyenne, there will surely be a lawsuit if it goes. I believe sanvan is right also. He told the legislators not to bring anything that doesnt create jobs. This goes the other way and he knows that. Once again, our lawmakers have let us down. EVERYBODY!
This is my question though. If things stay the same how do we police our side for the next two years. Im tired of Jason Christ and what he represents.

No need to police our side, the next year and a half will get very tricky. The first thing you will see will be an enormous amount of charges being pressed by law enforcement, they are going to want a judicial interpretation of the law and will do so by prosecuting all the easy targets, I am sure Jason is one of these so you will just have to wait and see on that. The mmj act getting defined by the courts is happening right now in flathead and missoula counties, in regards to the caregiver-to-caregiver transactions. If a judge sides against the caregiver then I think many stores will be either prosecuted or shut down due to their inability to grow their own. Expect to see judicial clarification on edibles, tintures, hash, etc. and I expect most of the interpretations will not benefit the industry!

Yes...but never say never. Guaranteed what is happening today ISN'T what the voters thought was going to happen with MMJ in Colorado (retail sales of MMJ on mainstreet and neon pot leaves tossing it in everyone's face). They DEFINITELY didn't pass the law as a way to pseudo'legalize and make the legal ingestion of cannbis available to >anyone< who >wants< it as so many seem to believe. (It was something about the sick and dying. Does anyone remember that?)

And//as in my county...the passing of additional verbiage associated with the recent explosion of MMJ has opened to door for misunderstanding and abuse by city/county/local Gov't that set it up so that the patients must then HIRE ATTORNEYS to fight for their basic rights as STATED in said "Amendment".

nothing is a given. Bet on it. I THOUGHT I had a right to grow in my home cus the Constitution says so...but my local Gov't is trying to say otherwise...

wot a mess...

good luck MT peeps

here is somthing that could be done if your a caregiver buy a strait talk phone program the govoners # and any time you interact with one of your pateints ask them ... while your here would you mind leaving a messeg with the governor letting him know how this has positivly effected your life this would be most effective if the store fronts participated as well not being active right now would be the wurst thing to do
