I'm tired of where I'm at now and would like to move to where the sun is out more than a few months out of the year.. naturally Cali comes to mind.. but when I started looking into the mmj laws I keep seeing that counties have 100sq ft limits. I know you can still pull weight in that much space but I was curious if there was somewhere where I could go bigger? Can you have more than one patient per tax parcel? for instance have multiple 10x10 rooms in one house or section off a building into 10x10 spaces for different patients? I just don't want to move to only be able to grow in a 10x10 space is all.. Thanks for any input

come to cali where you can grow all the weed you want - you just cant move it :smiley_joint:

I'll move mine.

I move it from the jar to my bong. Then I move it into and out of my lungs.

Then... I'm jammin.

I'm pretty sure most localities are loose on canopy limits. I think so long as you stick within your plant limit they don't give you too much grief. The better question might be "where in CA can't I grow my plants as big as I want them, legally?"

I'm not familiar with canopy limits in areas outside of the heavily urbanized areas (i.e. LA, SF, SD).

I personally don't see how any county can limit the number of MMJ patients per tax parcel, but that doesn't mean it's not on the books somewhere. Also, no county can limit plant numbers, based on the People vs Kelly decision. The main thing is that the grower be able to support the numbers.

Then go to a county that doesn't have this stuff spelled out, there are many.

The only municipality that I know of that has proposed limits based on canopy was Santa Rosa. I believe Prop 19 had such language, but that wasn't passed so it's a moot point.

You can grow as much as you want inside in Fresno county. Just nothing outside if you aren't in the city proper.

you could move anywhere and grow. Find a rural spot in the country. A place where your neighbor is a few acres away and your golden. Grow as much as u want inside. Keep to yourself and always be paranoid and your golden. It doesnt matter if your in cali, oregon, or what ever, it's still Federally illegal so if they want you, they are gonna come get you and there aint shiz u can do about it. Good Luck

so they did get away with imposing an ordinance on outdoor grows in fresno county?

thats some fucked up shit right there - fucking over a bunch of patients that is

Yeah, but considering the climate in Fresno (sooo gangsta), I can see how and why it happened. The city itself doesn't have the resources to deal with all the shit that goes down subsequent to OD grows.

Then again, Fresno and Bakersfield..? <points to armpit> There are SO many other BETTER places in Cali to go.

Over here in Norcal, in Lake County, you can pretty much do whatever you want as long as you're within your limits.

There are outdoor grows next to roads, some in backyards in subdivisions viewable from the street, with helicoptors flying around every day.

No one seems to care unless you're growing out guerilla style in the Mendo forest.

Every once in a while, they WILL come check your grow, check your cert, numbers, etc.

But, just play by the rules and things are pretty lax here. Depending on who your local primary physician is out here, you can grow plenty of the medicine you need.

Fresno your armpit?

Dont think so,it aint that bad.You want gang,s head south 200 more miles. There is more rednecks here then most people think.Plenty of sun, water, and perfect growing weather compare to most of Cali.Go south its to dry,go north to wet, the bay area,s got to many people in such small spaces .

like? very large green house or fat outdoor. i wanna kep it as south as possible

Affordably? You're going to have to stay in the ag regions it seems to me. I know nothing about what's going on in Imperial Co, but I know LA, SD, and Orange counties would be more risky for going large/GH, and that's not even addressing the space required.
