Speaking of Groovy, I was there today checkin in . . they got a sale going, gallons are only $94 which is in the 'Zone' zone lol. Supposedly they bought a giant batch to get a good price from australia guy and did cargo shipping instead of air

Hey snoopytime, I asked chris about using HF as a foliar treatment a few posts back in this therad,( i think he forgot about me though, lol) he said you previously used it and it burned the plants a bit... can you share what your application rate was?

thanks man :)

Oh Yeah ChronicM! Well I had hit them up at full blast (un-diluted). I can re-remind them though about that topic, I'll text him. If there is a 'right' amount I wanna know too lol.

Hiya chronic, I hate to be a newb (which I am with hydroponics) I WAS a soil man. what brand sells this zone everyone likes? Its just I searched it, wasn't very helpful. I'm up grading to a amazon areo system, would zone be a appropriate root stimulator? I was also looking at Canadian xpress nuts, you seem to now a lot about hydro so thought you would be the guy to ask. thanks for any help you can give. sighed up just for this post ;)

Thanks El Snoop for the heads up on this . Chronic my apologies for the delay!

The Boss of Sanda replied with the following this evening:

"Yes Chris, it will certainly get rid of the mildew but full strength may burn the foliage a bit do it at half strength. We definitely use it for killing mould and mildew. You can also use it to kill the mildew on clothing, blinds etc, It is very versitile. The black spot moulds you get on gardinia leaves may require a few daily sprays but it works on them too.
All the best,
Stephen"

So there you have it . . especially you Gardinia guys! Get your spray bottles out! ;)

Sorry if I missed it in a previous post.

I like to just take pure worm castings and let it steep in pure water for no less than 24 hrs......aerated or flummed is fine. I don't add any sugars as the castings already have a globulin component that provides carbohydrates.

I like to "brew/ steep" it loose and strain afterwards but it's ok to use a strainer bag to rest the castings in during the process.

There isn't really any likelyhood of over dosing plants with EWC Tea so dosages can be very liberal. I'd recommend sourcing the very best castings available, my favorite is Barefoot

Premium worm shit for sure....for details on making teas give em a call and pic their huge brains ;)

Any one try Oxidate by biosafe systems. It's h202 with 2% peracitic acid and buffers which make it not break down as fast as h202 also can be used as a foliar for PM, blight etc. Dilution for hydro 1-5000. Thinking about firing up the UC and going with this to keep things sterile. Was going to use Aquashield since that what I have in my cloner but im leaning towered sterile once in the UC. anyone have any thoughts on this?

I'm gearing up for my second UC round after a much needed vacation... Contemplating on whether to run with Zone, or Roots Excel and AquaShield again... :thinking

In any event, hope to see you rocking the blue buckets Chronic Monster... :rock

I had the best luck in the last few UC runs with Zone and H2o2 myself. I colonized the hydroton with Met52 because I had a Root Aphid issue. H2O2 keeps things tidy in the buckets and lets the roots explode if you have any yuck issues like I did with the RA attempted invasion. Seems like the good guys can still live in the pot area while running sterile below. I wish I could use bennies in the UC system but I have had miserable results when doing so.
