So Here we go again with anther exciting adventure into the gentic hybrids of the Billy Goat! So for all of you who don't know what "over unity" is, simply, you get more out than you put in. I planted 12 seeds...I now have 13 seedlings!! These are going to be very well cared for in a industrial med garden in Boulder! We also have the same, I think, Banana Kush cut that was used as the momma. Could get interesting. We are all very excited about this one. All my fellow workers love the flavor of the Banana Kush what all think it needs more punch. This is what we are looking for in this cross.
Will post regular weekly updates and system parameters as well as picts.

Thanks

Peace

Hey HB

Nice to see you growing those out. Not, many people got those. Since the last seed harvest was small. Any ways, good luck with them. You should do well with them. Sounds like your off to a good start. I'm guessing you got a double yoke. 13 out of 12 is nice. Can't wait to see these. I'll be watching these.

As for the moth to this cross. If your thinking it's the Banana Kush, your way off. The only Kush I've ever worked with was. Pre 98 Bubba and the OG Kush, but only used the Bubba in a cross.

This Banana came to me from Dr Jay and Eric Heimstadt and before anyone says anything about me posting Eric's name. Both Dr. Jay and Eric are both passed and both of them where Big into medical Cannabis and fighting for the rights. They both past of Cancer. RIP

From what I'm told. The cut I used as the mother was just called Banana. What I'm told from the source that gave it to me. It's a line of the original e-32 Trainwreck. Don't ask me how it came to be, because after I got the cut. I was ask to give it back and then when I went to return the 4 I got. I was told I could keep them. I ask, what they where and how they came to be. Was told a line from the original trainwreck seeds.

I was picking up a tray of e-32 cuts and the person that was the cut person. Ran out of space and placed 4 cuts of Banana in my tray. I didn't know I had them. Till I got them home and started transplanting them and noticed funny coding that didn't match the e-32's.

A few days later. Eric got very ill and passed pretty quickly. Dr. Jay had already been gone for a couple of years, but these two catz worked together on all their projects together.

Sorry, for the long post. Just want to make sure the story is straight. Good luck on the project and let me know if you have any questions.
Take care,
BG

Ya, there is some history there. It's sad these guys have passed on. Dr. Jay was the first person to share any cuts with me and I miss our talks VIA e-mail/PM's. Very nice guy and knew his stuff. Eric, was a kewl guy in is out way. Did allot for allot of people. He is miss as well.

Good luck with the project. Can't wait to see how it turns out. Best of luck to you and if you need anything. Just send me a pm.

Ya, Eric's club is a nice one. I haven't talked to them in a while, but his daughter was either running it or past it on to someone else. I know I was in arcata visiting friends and she swung by. Needed help with some clones and stocking the club. Last time I talked to her.

Ya, the e-32 is some nice smoke. People get tired of it and then there is a surge of them wanting it. Really good plant and good for doing crosses. As for the Alibi Dr. Jay did. Here's the funny thing and not many know this. Those seeds came from Texas Kid. Dr Jay got seeds from Texas Kid and reworked them. Dr.Jay was really happy with those.

As for Eric. Ya, he was doing well. Getting better and everyone knew he had cancer, but then he got very sick and it was odd. Then passed away shorthly after.

Thanks for the support.
Take care,
BG

Hey Jaws,

sorry to hear about your 4 males. That's odd, but it happens from time to time. Do you have any more seeds left? I don't know if I posted something that came off wrong, but did I say there won't be anymore? I've got the mother plant still. As of good faith. They let me keep the cuts and I did the seeds. I've got the girl backed up also. Just been busy with health and other things. I've posted else where's. I'm going to rework this one later on. Going to do more of the Banana Smack and also a BX to the mother. See where it goes. No worries, If you don't have any more. I'll make sure you get some. Once way or another.

Sorry, about all the males. Take care and thanks for the support.

Can't wait to see these babies rockin and rolling. I grow in coco and coco perlite mixtures. I like the stuff and the roots really do well in it. Your yields do well also. Just make sure you use some calmag. The coco loves the calmag. What ever medium you use. I'm sure these will do very well.

Transplant total success.

sprouted in coco. grown under LEDs. slow growth, probably because I was was feeding far more than I should have. Was band new to the coco thing, and there is a very quick learning curve. washed off some/most of coco from the 16oz cups they were sprouted in. Placed in hydroton within 6" nets on an ebb and flow tray. They handle high levels of nutrients. counted 8 nodes within an inch of growth. Kind of hard to believe and will post picts tomorrow. with the system they sit in. wait til you see the distance the LEDs are from the plants, nearly 4 feet. they took off over the last 3 days. Running around 750ppm 5.8-6.1 pH.

Morning HB,

glad to see you got these going. I need to find time to get back on this project. Need to do another back cross to the mother. Looking forward to the pictures and can't wait to see what you end up with. These are some special seeds and I'm not just saying that. Watch out for that super bushy girl. The mother is like that and does awesome in SCROG.

Can't wait to see how they do under the LED's also. Not a fan of them, but I do enjoy seeing others messing around with them. Best of luck and thanks for sharing.
Take care,
BG

Ok so here it is. The LEDS, a few not under them, and they are very strong.
Dropped ppm to about 600, felt that was more appropriate. BG I have most of the bush pheno. Thogh I will admit that these are not growing naturally because of what the LEDS spectrum is. These units are custom made by our

As a add on When I transplanted from COCO to hydroton some I washed, and some I did not. There was no difference in growth what so ever. They all had exposed roots on the outside of the net pots within 3 days of transplant to the ebb and flow. Really impressed with these and the excitement is growing to see what these ladies can do.
On a side note BG, these plants represent an incross to the original sister of the E-32?
Banana(Original seed sister of E-32) x Orient Express(E-32 x THai)
Is this correct? Because i have access to the E32 and she might need a dusting. Thanks again btw these seeds have all turned out impressive and have created a cult following around the people that are in the know. Great work and stay well bud.

Peace

Yes, you are correct. The Banana came from the Original seeds that the e-32 was found in. Those two guys where working the lines when they found her. I was lucky enough to get clones before Eric passed.

I'll see if I can get more info from one of the ex worker's that was helping out. It will be a while, but I'll see what info I can drum up from them, but you are right.

Plants look good and the bushy ones are on the mother side of the cross. The lanky ones are on the e-32 side of things. Thanks for sharing and good luck with the rest of the grow.
Take care,
BG

It is quite a distinct phenotypic differentce between the 2 types. they all look sooo healthy right now. changed to a top feed using Jack's pro Hydro. They will be going under flower specific LEDs as part of ongoing work the shop has been working on. Those guys are part owners in a up and coming LED company. Will take and post some more picts on Monday.
The bushy phenos, as you can see are almost too stout, may be the LEDs have something to do with that.

picture update

here are a few picts to date. First 2 are the males selected, great smell on the taller, of funky cheese(all of the females have this same smell to a varying degree), the bushy one is so dense I just had keep. Lots of ladies we have could use some density and new genetics in the mix.
The 2 Females were the largest and ready to go so were placed in the Banana Kush flower room. 2 weeks into flower. These 2 are happy and easily keeping up with tried and trusted varieties. CAN"T WAIT!!!
