This gun thing has really taken off. Up until two weeks ago I wasn't aware or didn't even think about having guns around. Made the front page of the Denver Post today. I you take the time to read the article it seems as if this has always been the law but it is something that is new to look for when a search is being conducted. According to the article, so far nobody has been prosecuted for a registered weapon on site. Now however, the ATF is going to look at it on a case by case situation. I guess what that mens is it's another way for the feds to make a case against you even if your plant count is in order.
I have an antique 16 ga shot gun I used as a boy to hunt birds, is hasn't been fired for over 40 years but sadly I guess it has to go. Now that I think about it, I don't have it registered or have a gun permit. I'm not a gun person but didn't think a antique hanging on the wall could send me to jail.
