yo man, what strength you feeding little ones at? In coco you start feeding a little hotter nutes?
Im gonna have to start loading some pics and get more input from the coco growers here...

My littles seem hungry, yet show a little tip burn. My ph is 5.8-6 going in and ppm 450 with r.o...
also a touch of cal def... I was gonna boost em with more food but figured Id hit ya before I roach em? lol

i start with just a+b at 1/2 strength so for H16 its 5 ml/g which puts me about 0.8 EC i think. Full veg im about 1.8 EC. u see both rust spots and interveinial fading? overall, i ended up seeing more Mg deff than Ca throughout the grow. i picked up som epsom salts and some pickle crisp (ca cl) to have on hand since i was dealing with a new medium. even if ur at full strength on ur veg, and u still are seeing some CaMg deff, compensate ur EC with the CaMg. ur early enough to where it will only help.

where did you buy those cages?

great job!

Im diggin the inginuity on those water heater trays and plant stands. Sick. Looks like that Cindy killed it.

Thanks Cap, your bennies have come in handy thats for sure, much obliged! my math seemed to be a bit off when using 30% as my dry weight from wet weight estimate but she still came in over the 2 # mark.

next to come down were a few bc cheese from bc bud depot. these 3 particular plants have been through quite a bit. these clones were among the final attempt in my UC when i called it quits. these were in the UC for about 14 days then transplanted into these 7 gal smarties. they took forever to get a foot hold and really struggled through veg as i was also trying to get a foot hold on my feeding but ended up coming through pretty good.

so this is a grow im involved in as well. this particular room was having some difficulties with the UC and the owner felt a more reliable approach was more in line with his goal of a perpetual garden. as in my own personal situation, and after a brief consultation over some bbq, he reluctantly let me retrofit this room to a coco/smarty auto feed. that was 6 weeks ago. these pics are at about day 19 i think. hes pretty happy now.

the room is 20x20x10 with 8k in AWs and 9k vert cooled with 6 tons. 16 plants. the 7gal root pots with roots coco were placed on 4, 3" pvc stands about 8" tall in each 13 gal UC mod. a sump in the epi runs on a timer to pump out the run off collected in the UC. granted this is a very expensive drainage setup but gotta adapt or die. 9" hydro halos on a cycle timer. full H16 nute lineup. short ones are Cindy99, mid height are ECSD, and the tall ones in the back are WestCSD.

Prop's" homie!

That feed line is clean and simple. How long was veg? Im considering a simplified run to waste in a nice little warehouse we started Saturday. Debating on my raceway table or raised buckets with 1" pvc drains to a condensate pump. Simple, clean, but not very quick...

this was the last girl to come down at 63 days. i have no idea what she is. she grew from seed, which was popped by my homie bc it was the largest seed he had ever seen. she ended up herming on me. nanners all over and i got about a dozen huge mature seeds. she absolutly stinks but im bad at classifying smell. her structure is crazy as in i dont understand why her branches and stalks were basically way over engineered for how small the buds were lol. small dense frosty buds and smaller terminal buds too but definitely is a yielder. anyone got a clue? maybe a skunk?

Looks like you helped your buddy have a turn for the better! Are you using the UC piping for drain? It would seem that you would get a bit of hempy style if those roots reach down for that water in the bottoms of the containers.

thanks TF! yes needless to say he is excited about what is to come lol. yes, the UC is now utilized as a drain. the 7 gal root pots are siting on 4 pieces of 3" pvc that were cut to 8" in length as legs/support for the plants in each bucket and to assure that the pots are able to fully drain. in the epi outside the room, there is a sump pump on a timer that runs twice a day to empty the run off out of the system.

I got a chuckle out of your use of the UC for drainage, I'm all about doing whatever it take to make things work. So they were vegged 30 days? 40" centers? Looks great though, nice work.

the shorter plants in the foreground were a 4 week veg from clone, and the taller 8 in the back were longer as they were the best 8 that we pulled from the UCs and then transplanted into the coco. they are all on 52" centers.

That mystery bean looks blueberryish

its highly possible. the bean came out of a "bagseed jar" from a guy that typically smokes flame so its possible. here are the beans that i found while trimming her. the alien/cap for size reference.

You weren't lying bout the tree part, dope vertical set up man

thanks bro much appreciated. ive seen the coco become a saving grace for a lot of folks lately and the trials and turmoils that we must endure only contributes to the greater good for all of us here and helps the entire knowledge base increase so we can all continue growing quality meds in the quantity that we require in an efficient manner.

i wouldnt be the farmer i am today without THCFarmer. Mad props to Logic...thanks homie!

Vertical is the best, if u can hang with the power bill. Then again im only pulling 1.5 to 2lbs a light your probably double that.

Ha does anyone else think those seeds look like little walnuts?
Nice work with the uc. One that shit is dialed in, it's the best way to grow hands down.
Oh, and if you wanna get rid of some seeds I'm ur man.

ha...no doubt. im over a G every month for electric.

thanks i just figured it was the best usage for that room. i was limited by the 6 tons of total cooling and the array of 16 plants so i tried a few different configs on paper and im glad i decided on this setup. were talkin now of atleast 4k more in AW across the middle along with a mini split.

my homie pointed out that he sees a correlation between seeds with "edges" and plants with unique traits. but they do look like mini walnuts thats funny.
