amazing stuff there Crys.. typical juicing though, youve got to have a shit load of product to juice, im gonna have to at least try it once for the wifes fibro,

I would imagine to give it a fair shot, you may want to try it for an extended period of time. For a personal medical grower like myself. . .keeping that much fresh leaf on hand is impossible. Hmmmm.

Incredible, I've never thought of using raw cannabis before. Will definitely have to give this a try.

What kind of effect does it impart. Is it similar to ingesting cooked canna?

So how do the Omegas compare to Champion for beefiness? Champion has like 5 parts besides the motor and is heavy like an anvil. I also saw the 8003 but looks like less motor.

The Champion and Omega similar, well built and few parts. The Omega runs at 80 rpms, the Champion runs faster at 1725 rpms. The slower Omega is better for juicing leafy greeens. It all depends on what a person wants to juice. The Omega has a 15 yr warranty, and the Champion has a 10 yr warranty.

Now im waiting on a Vitamix blender to show up.

Good feedback, thanks. So you think slower is better for something so stout and fibrous as cannabis? Most other greens I've juiced are way more delicate, even kale pales by comparison (tried some post-bubblebag trim in a food processor once, messy mistake, killed the blades in 5min).

How will you use your vitamix, gonna keep both?

Checked these out and they are indeed badass! Not sure which models are sold in the US though, there's a warning on their website, something about suspect 5500s sold here, maybe old versions? I'm gonna go read more, 2 websites:

Answering my own question, lower rpm means less heat/oxidation (supposedly keeps more juice goodies live/intact). Prob sounds like a good idea for what we're doing..

Yup, gonna keep both. Juice veggies, and blend fruits. Gonna make a lot of green smoothies in the Vitamix. I eat mostly vegetarian at this point, I never thought that'd ever happen lol.

Ive really gotten into juicing since my dad has had some major health issues and scares over the past few months. He has some heart failure, and thought he had lung cancer.

Post on here what you end up getting, the Omega is a soild piece for $300.

Hey Mike the Vitamix is pretty cool. A family member has it and I had dinner at her house and she made tomato soup from the garden with the Vitamix. Cool thing about it is that is actually cooks the soup in the mixer! The heat from the motor cooks it. Probably don't want to do that with the cannabis leaves though.

P.S. Hey Mike, sorry to hear about your pops, that must be tough.

I have the Champion Juicer and she costs about 200-300 bucks (BTW this is mandatory for folks doing The Gerson Therapy protocol). The Champion makes everything into a fine mash. The mash then gets wrapped into a fine cloth (sieve) and is put under a small hydraulic press (cost: 250 bucks) which squeezes out every drop of juice. IMO this is THE best way to juice. The mash is terrific for adding to your mulch pile or feeding chickens. The King of juicers if the Norwalk Juicer which is a single, all-in-one unit that grinds and presses the produce (or MMJ). Last I saw The Norwalk Juicer sells for 2000-2500 bucks but if you are lucky you can find a used one for $1000.

I have tried juicing MMJ on several occasions. It upsets my stomach and often gives me headaches.

I just did a day of juicer research and will post detailed findings when I get a min.

Kolah, what parts did you juice and what kind of prep? The leaf juice is definitely nasty, understandable how it could cause GI upset. Did the headaches seem like from psychoactivity, or more akin to an allergy reaction? How well do you tolerate other edible forms?

Hey Kolah, were the leaves from when the plant was mature or when it was still vegging or flowering? I noticed that if I smoke or ingest herb that was harvested immaturely (basically clear unripened trichomes) makes me feel panicky and gives me a headache. Wondering if that may have something to do with it?
Hey Kolah, are you doing the Gerson Therapy? wondering how you feel since trying it (pm me if you want). I saw the documentary and found the diet and theories quite interesting.

Sorry, I was under the impression the recipe was a little more based on body weight. Once I go the recipe. as you can see it is way more basic than I was originally told...

Patient is responding well after 2 weeks of treatment. Patient is using a wheatgrass hand powered juicer.

I was told its one big handful of leaf and one thumb size bud a day... People were making big batches of it and freezing it in ice trays. I ice cube is one ounce. That's what the goal is one oz. a day...
