dang, my harlequins had the same exact thing.. i thought it was a genetic thing cuz it was the only plant that just wouldnt stay healthy, it would look good at first and then just get worse and worse, i went back and got more and they kept doing it, couldnt keep them healthy for shit, had to keep throwing em out and even the clones would turn the same way, all fucked up and stunted. i hope i didnt send that problem your way. but that harley i was getting from avalon stayed like that.

ive been spraying neem, spinosad and teas at least once a week sometimes twice.. ima have to invest in those caps bennies myself cuz this shits got me scared.

another strain i got that im pretty sure might have broad mites is petrol og from progressive options, and theyre diablo og too.. they just cant stay healthy.. turn yellow and all fucked up. ima go toss every plant that aint all green and perfect haha.

progressive options definitely is known to carry broad mites. dunking new cuts in Avid is the best method to killing the fuckers

ive only heard bad things about this place. ive never been and never plan to but word on the street is to go somewhere else

Sorry to hear about this broad mite issue. Those litle buggers a biatch to deal with. I do Agree with spic though, the rust does look like a little cal/mag deficiancey. I get that same look on some specific strains i grow quite often. However, i can combat it with some mag and all new growth is once again great! You know for having those buggers, actually the plants looked quite well in the veg spot.

I bid you the best of luck getting rid of it though brother. You are a stand up guy for relaying the message to your peeps as fast as you did. A lot of people wouldnt do that. Mad respect for doing So.

thank you for stopping ny brother and i think im do for a light feeding in the closet so i will make sure and get some CAL-MAG in there aand see if that helps them a bit, i got my CHERRY PIE & LIME KUSH in that batch and do not want to lose them......

ya veg only, and hopefully not plants that are going to be put into flower soon. It stays in the system longer than many think. I dont know if something like mightywash would work against the broad mites, but its ok to use in flower.
botanicares calmag is shit IMO. and probably the most commonly used. i liked there organicare calplex better, but even then... advanced sensical bloom is good, maybe a little pricey tho. Ive heard good stuff about GH MagiCal. A while back i remember reading that lots of botanicare CalMag bottles go bad. And a way to test if its good or not, is how opaque the liquid is. If you would be able to see through the liquid and read newspaper print then its good. If the calmag is very dark and you would not be able to see through it then its gone bad.

thanks much guys i will NOT hit the flowering girls with the AVID and with that being said i need to decide what to do next ive got my KILLER CHEM SODAS in there that are just AMAZING and i dont want to throw them away, i see no effects on either of them but that dont mean there not infected by the MITES....i dont think i have an INFESTAION yet or id be seeing damage all over but im not just a couple plants and certin strains GSC--BLACK ROSE--HARLIQUIN??--BLACK CHERRY SODA??..........

YUP i think the young plants look decent and i hope to get the AVID in time to keep them looking good, there all still small enough that i can just submerge the whole plant into an AVID bath so ya im hoping all those can be saved.....thanks for the tip on checking the CAL-MAG...

ya brother the one HAR im growing now is the daughter of the one i got from you months back and the grand daughter was killed yesterday because she is/was showing the same signs as her mother and grandmother.....the one in the pic is a pretty old growing plant and is just not doing what a plant should be doing at all, she will probably meet the axe today i just cant stand to look at her any more..

so there maybe 5 plants getting pitched out today atleast 4 for-sure.....

ya ive been around a long time and knew what needed to be done as far as letting my friends know what was going on, i sure know i would have liked to know ASAP but that did not happen for me...

im sure the friends who got cuts frm be with the MITES are not happy but i know they would be a lot madder if i had not told them up front and found out like i did my REP would have been DESTROYED and that was not something i was willing to let happen.....i knew i had solid friends and if i was to be stright up with them the anger would be less and they would ATLEAST have a chance at killing them early enough to where they would not lose much if any at all.....

We've got a couple of things in common ATM. I've got some of the same stipling on 3 mothers-I think that Spicoli's suggestion that low Ca is the prob is right on. I don't have bl mites, (i hope!), but I do have an infestation of soil gnats in that I've been battling in the veg room w/ neem oil and spinosad spray. Haven't dunked them yet. I don't think it's a coincidence that I ran out of Cap's bennies a month ago because I've been spacing out my order. I've had virtually no insect or pathogen difficulty for the past year using the bennies, so that tells me something.

I'm meeting up w/ a bro today and he's going to lay some bennies (Caps) on me to see me thru til i order. (I don't like sounding like an advertisement... but the shit works.) He's also going to give me som Adbom? Anbom? will get you the actual name if it works and I here that it's a real bee-itch on bugs. Pretty sure it's organic cuz that's how we run.

Was going to swap some cuts but WILL NOT until the gnat prob is ratified because that's how it's done. Passing along dirty cuts that you know about is like having the flu and intentionally sneezing in someone's face.

Last but not least, he's bringing me some Cherry Pie cuts so we'll be running some of the same stuff. The veg looks like you'll be able to right it quickly. I hope you can fix the others. I hate having to deal w/ this kind of shit but it's part of the job.

I use N and P bat guano in soil as an infusion- not a tea. ie I mix thoroughly in water and use. I don't use it as a tea because the extra time and food, ie molasses, brings the bacteria level up higher and faster than I want and raises the the pH. But that's my system and teas can work in a different culture. You can also mix some guanos, ie Mexican-high N straight into soil- others, ie Ancient Harvest? powdered high P is better watering in- practically h2o soluble- would lump up if added directly to mix.
