Pure Genius DWB, could you detail your hempy setup a bit for us, I see the clear tubes in the 2 corners, what kinda black bag is that in the tub your using? What, if any, media are you using in the wicking area of the setup, keep it dank, Peace SSP

Sure no problem, There are actually 6 tubes that go down to the rez. 4 in each corner then 2 more near the middle. Think soma's beds. The black plastic is just some left over 2 mil. plastic drop cloth/moisture barrier. I used sunleaves rocks in the bottom 1/7th of the tub which gives me a 2.2 gallon rez. The reason this is rockin so hard, is because of the large surface area, evaporation of the media when kickin around organic hempys is key. If ya dont use large enough plants or enough plants, the water will just sit in the rez, and the problems pop up. The breather tubes make sure the whole tub drys out evenly. The shallowness of the tub speeds up the evaporation process as well. Add in the very large porous rocks and it doesnt matter what type of other media is added this sucker will dry out. I used ALOT of alaskan humus forest, more than you would even in a soil mix, I cut that with Botanicare Ready Gro aeration formula because of the azomite, castings, and of course THE COIR. Wait till I post pictures of the roots, pinky sized, largest ive ever seen. Think that just about covers it.

dude you kill with the t-5. sub'd.

I've had those little clamp fans (the exact same one), fall on to my plants in the same tent (2x4?) I would be careful with it, maybe duct tape it in place. those clips suck.

Day 16, and I had too add net number 3. Ive got like 6" left before I cant raise the light anymore. This should be the last week of stretch for everything but the Black Haze! They are already starting to STANK like hell with resin starting to coat the fans!!!!!! They are stacking like crazy the tops are just as nice as the bottoms. Ive never EVER had a grow go this easy.

Looking good DWB. I agree with Cap, I don't trust the clips on those fans. I used to zip tie them to my tent poles. So I would find some way to secure them to the pole, otherwise you will open the door to a fan lying on the top of your plants, well I guess in your case on the top of your bed.

still havent busted mine out yet to try but as soon as the heat goes away like late september im gonna give it a go!

Its 488w. This is my forth go around with this light. Ive only used a single t5 lights for veg here and there in the past. When i shut down my other, 16o0w, 10k, 15, and 35k set ups. I still needed smoke so i bought this little light and just kinda tried to see what I could get with it. First Id like to say 99.999999% of info about t5's is horseshit. I get higher lux ratings 6" into the canopy than I was getting with with 600w HPS a foot from the canopy. My leaves touch my t5 bulbs and never even burn. Ive done this grow on the law of minimum. I use mixed spectrum 10k 6500k, and like 2500k.....i cant remember. I feed less than 800ppm per feeding. I only use foliar harmony as a bug/mold prevention. My nutes contain every element available.

My last yeilds were terrible. My best yet was 8.5oz cured and dried. This grow is so far beyond my last attempts its hard to even guesstimate what Ill get this time. Dosnt really matter though. I dont smoke anymore. This is gunna all be given away, and so will all the next grows I post up. Ill test things out, but I no longer smoke, crazy.

Looking good in there. I have had and seen plenty of great results with fluorescent lights, the fact that you can keep them so close to the plants really does make a difference. I have to say, I am a bit surprised 8.5 oz. have been your best results. I have a feeling this grow will surpass that number.

This may be personal, but why do you no longer smoke? Work or just personal choice?
