Take a look at your entry into this conversation. Read it a few times. And you're wondering why people take it as insulting?

Nothing about the above comes off as a legitimate, honest and impartial rating of a strain. In fact, there is nothing about the above that does not come off as an insult. You state all of the above as fact, not opinion. You ran the strain ONCE, and failed (apparently). You ran it again "just to be sure", and failed again after no adjustments...

If you can't see that this is not how proficient growers rate a strain, then I have my doubts you've ever grown anything besides an ego, sitting comfortably behind your monitor.

Try something more along the lines of:
"I grew Killing Fields out twice, and wasn't satisfied with either harvest. Here's what I grew it in... Under ___ kw... Here's what I fed, here's how much I fed and how often... I harvested around ___ weeks. What am I doing differently than everyone who loves this strain? I need to know because I am not getting satisfactory results. However my 'suitable for mass consumption' GHS grows always turn out fine."

Someone once told me "Not everyone with a drivers license can drive a formula one car...". Seems like a fitting quote...
i hear what your saying but you guys are way too sensitive. if i started calling people names and stuff it would go too far but what i said isnt that big a deal. thats my opinion and i worded it like that cause im annoyed that alot of my time was wasted and i feel the description to the strain isnt accurate. you can keep saying i grew it wrong till the cows come home, thats not what happened. and once again

he didnt breed this strain for the potency!!

thats a fact. selections were made for color and taste. when it says up to 22% thc in the description than you expect a highly potent strain

okay, here lets take this from the top (even if you did already mention it)

what did you not like about the strain, and it has to be something that CANNOT BE ATTRIBUTED to grower error.

tell me why you didnt like perfectly grown KF

okay, so with how he bred it,

what the hell is your point?

you just said that sannie grew it NOT FOR POTENCY, so why the hell you crying that you thought it was weak (once again assuming your the jedi master grower)

explain to me your loop of complaining, you say its not strong but you say you know it wasnt meant to be grown that way. what the hell are you crying about then

And I'd put a few elbows on the fact that I attain at least mid 20's consistently with it. The description does NOT say "Anyone can grow this any way they want anywhere they want however they want and get 22% THC". I've got a buddy that round after round cranks out Bubblegum at over 29%. Nobody has every claimed that type of THC content for BG, and it certainly doesn't mean everyone who tries will get 29%, or anywhere even close. I've run cuts of this BG on about a dozen occasions, and not once have I been able to get anywhere close to that kind of success. Even with KF, it wasn't that great until my 4th run, and still got better after that. Had I given up at the same point you did, my KF would suck too. I didn't blame the genetics though, because I know even the crappiest mexican ditch weed can be massaged to give the kindest of bud. So instead of telling all my buddies "the strain sucks, don't believe the hype..." I tried again (and treated her differently than the first time). Still not happy? Try again, changed something else. Fail again, more changes... another disappointment... Make more adjustments... DISCO!

Why would subsequent selections need to have anything to do with potency, when the potency was already there? Get it? F1's got potency, F2 added yield to that potency, F3 added pheno stability and lessened flowering time. THC content was there from the beginning, and simply didn't need to be weighed as a variable in selection. Hard to miss potency with a stand out Jack and The One... Tapping away at your keyboard like you were Sannies partner in breeding Killing Fields and know so much more about this strain than anyone else should be embarrassing you. Head on over to OpenGrow and get some real information from the man himself about the F1, F2, F3 selection process.

I suppose we'll just have to get together so you can smoke some KF that someone else has grown. You might find something to complain about, but it won't be potency.

All anyone is saying to you in this thread, is that it's wrong to immediately blame genetics, using terms like "most-overrated", and warning people to "not believe the hype", just because your initial attempt at growing it out did not warp your mind after one hit. Give in to the universal truth that it is possible the strain simply wanted to be grown differently than you grew it. It told you so with a lack of potency. Instead of listening and making adjustments, you took your ball and went home. And that's cool, we don't all have time to spend a year and a half dialing a strain (you know, a little investment in something you "wanted to keep for years") we want to grow. Why did you think you wanted to keep it for years anyway, having absolutely no experience with the strain? That right there doesn't lend much plausibility to the idea that you have reached such a godly status as a grower that genes are your only limitation.

Oh, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd rather take two hits of something that tastes like fruit salad than one hit of something that tastes like bat-shit-coated alfa-alfa...

So the bottom line remains, it's not Killing Fields fault that you weren't successful with it. The number one reason she told you to F off, is because you think it's impossible that you could have done something the strain didn't like.

We only keep females, and as such we should expect them to behave a lot like a woman....
Some women are cheap and easy, and put out to any Joe with a motel room and half an hour to burn... Other women though, classy women require a lot more work, time and dedication if you want to seal the deal.

even though i knew he made selections for color and taste people were still raving about the strain and plus the description still said its strong and the high lasts long and its up to 22% thc. after seeing all that i bought the strain. after i grew it i starting putting the pieces together and it made sense cause of the selections he made. something just popped in my head thats a little fishy also, this is pure speculation though did you notice all of sannies strains say the thc is in the 20's? do you guys really think all of his strains are really that strong? doesnt make alot of sense to me. even grindhouse seeds mob moss came in at 20% thc and that was grown from the breeder himself. thats Chemdog D x blockhead. no way in fuckin hell kf is stronger than mob boss. especially when he didnt breed it for potency in the first place. there acting like weed with 20% thc just grows on trees lol. you know what im sayin. keep in mind this is all speculation im just thinking about this with common sense.

okay with all your opinions and speculations.....

is there a way to block yahoo's on this site?? i'd love to know how.

you dont have to worry about it cause im not on this website that much anyway. its so funny how people get so mad when you give your opinion on something that differs with someone else. this isnt a cult people

I dont want to live on this planet
