Kryptonite under construction!!!

I'm starting a new grow with about 15 lights using ebb and flow. I plan on growing all Kryptonite, so far so good. I bought cap ebb and flow48 system so I can fit 16 plants under each light which allows 3 1000watt lights under each system. I had to build a platform for the ebb and flow to make all the water drain out the buckets. The hoods are XXXtreme 8" air cooled and the ballast are extreme nano. The goal is 1.5 lbs per 1000 watt, wish me luck!

Krypto is sfv og x chem dogg at least that is what my boy told me, I trust him though he has the best sfv og this side of the Mississippi. I've been growing it for a bout 14 days and it's already two feet and thick stocks, so I am excited to say the least. I also got some afgoo from him and its growing slow as shit. I started it about 2weeks before the krypto and it has barely hit a foot. So krypto might be a keeper!

Are you running the Kryptonite from Cali? If so it has to be a purple cross of some sorts, and it has no og in it......its totally kush hence the big leaves and super indica buds but I think it could be a bubba x purple or something of the sorts but most likely not og x chem (cali version anyway, not to say your buddy didn't make his own cross and use the same name). The Kryp is awesome! I always let it get purple before cutting down and when grown outside its like blackberry kush in that it looks indoor! Good luck and kyrp is a great yielder for a kush so I think your 1.5 is more than possible!!!!!

If its the cut from CA, you will be stoked. Very decent yielder, very frosty, and turns nice colors, Everyone loves it. You do need to pull some fan leaves, it can get real bushy with huge fan leaves. Im plan on running it again, gets huge nugs but for me seems to go to larf down the stems pretty fast., and it does suck to prune compaired to other stuff i have. Itll do 1.5 a light

Just a quick update on my new project, things are getting serious! The Kryptonite is out growing the cages which is good and bad at the same time. Good because harvest is going to be the shit, hotel in vegas baby:D I am in real need of a vacation and looking forward to some time off in a hot tub at Mandalay Bay. Bad because I need them to stop stretching due to height restrictions. I don't want to have to top them but I might be forced. The guy at Discount Hydro told me that if I use MOAB right now it will cause them to bud faster, but im trying to introduce as little nute as possible. Any advice out there? Check out my update pics + my mess that im cleaning up!

grow is looking awesome bro.... subbed... question the aqua flakes a and b what is the price of those items just bought a few things from craigs list and dude had mostly hydro stuff and i run in soil , so i passed on the aqua flakes did get that drip clean and roots ex.

I spent $35 a piece for a/b 5 litter at discount hydro and the results have been really good so far. I have a grow in soil also and I just started using a tea, I encountered a few self inflicted wounds but over all the tea seems to work really well in soil especially with caps bennies. The roots excelurator is the shit, non come close to what this product is doing it is a must for soil or hydro so you are winning with that one. Once I get to my lab I will take pics of the roots!

I found them on ebay for $129.00 for 45 of them, but I think there cheaper at lowes. There 33inches tall and the work really well. Three of my plants don't have cages because I have 48 plants in that system but the surrounding cages hold them up.

when do u put the cages on? is it hard to put them on if the plants are big and bushy?

can't wait too long to put the cages on before it gets to be difficult, but about 18 inches I would say is the point where it would become hard to get the cage around the plants. The bottoms adjust in and out so it will fit around one thats a little bushy. I would have liked the plants to have stopped growing at the top of the cage, now think ima have to add something else to hold the buds, but we shall see my friend.

Buds are starting to take off plus my second run is almost ready to start. Building the veg room as i type! Hopefully my second system will be operational on the 8th so I can stay on schedule, but that is highly unlikely:eek:

The Cali cut of Kryptonite is Purps x Killer Queen, it was a good buddy of mine that bred it originally. The Purps cut was sourced by Jason King and came out of Mississippi of all places if I remember right, and the KQ male was Vic High's out of Canada. Oaksterdam got it's hands on it a few years back and renamed it Kryptonite and started pumping out cuts of it in industrial quantities. It's good stuff, one of my favorite strains, I've used both male and female Kyrptonite in several seed projects, it's a great breeder.

Really close to harvest, maybe a few days left waiting on a couple more hairs to turn brown. The buds are so big they are bending over backwards, I made the mistake of using 33" cages instead of netting which will cost me big in the end but I won't make that mistake again! The second run is finally fully operational but 30 days behind schedule and way over budget, had to sell one of my kids to Angelina just to stay in business:eek: so now im 50% to having my room complete. Everyone have a Happy Thanksgiving!
