Realized it was almost time to vote and then I realized I was beyond uninformed on what's going on besides the bs commercials on tv right now. So www.votesmart.org is my new friend!

We have the following coming up:

Proposal 2 Collective Bargaining
I'm voting yes.

Proposal 6 International Bridges and Tunnels
I'm voting yes.

Proposal 3 Renewable Energy Mandates
I'm voting yes.

Proposal 4 Quality Home Care Council and Provide Collective Bargaining for In-Home Care Workers
Not sure about this one any input?

Proposal 5 Limit the Enactment of New Taxes by the State Government
Strong yes.

Proposal 1 Emergency Manager Law
Not sure on this one either but I'm not very for people's right to elect their officials being taken away.

What judges are more friendly to growers and med patients? I'm hoping some of you smart people come out of the woodwork on this one and we can all make informed choices to benefit OUR COMMUNITY!

Yeah those commercials are killing me. It seems to me that the Republican party is in Denial. They are about as unamerican as you can get. Their views on education, abortion and global warming are just retarded. Im not a Democrat either. I see it as a lesser of 2 evils. So I say vote for the lesser!

I personally don't align with either party either budmuncher but just want to be informed and help others get informed as well.

Im registered republican but i always vote for whomever i consider to be the best man for the job so this year im voting for...Oh shit im screwed, lol.Honestly i agree with budmuncher that the republicans are too far to the right for me but ill add that the damn democrats are way to far to the left,Is there no middle ground anymore? It seems that both parties loyaltys lie with everyone but the people, crazy times.Another thing that bothers me is that no one else besides the republicans or the democrats gets to debate or be heard?WTF i wanna here what everyone has to say,i just might like their ideas more cause i certainly dont agree with either of the other two.The system we have now is broken thats for sure.

Won't say who I voted for. But I will make adjustments and make the best of who ever wins. Voted against ALL new taxes and yes on 64 in Colorado. Sure am glad that all political commercials are about to end, now we can start watching the car dealers again. Wonder who would screw you the worst a politician or Doug Moreland. Secret: I Know!!

Not ashamed to say I voted as FAR LEFT as I possibly could...as always!

But not far enough. Next election I'll be stumpin' for the Green party or other alternative choice... Somethin has to give....

Technically, putmebk.....if it ever gets off the ground that is....64 >>IS<< a taxation issue...and nothing more. However, the retail side of it will never see the light of day...I'm positive of that...and you nor I, as growers...will EVER pay a cent of that tax....but it will open the door for home cultivation and ANOTHER TRAIN the dumb fuckers in Washington just won't be able to stop once it hits the tracks....

you get an independent in office and then congress is all going to be against them. and then nothing will get done.

I don't need new options, Just better ones!

You are exactly right. Dumb fuckers that have been told there are other more important things to deal with than the popular movement happening across the country. And home cultivation? I think you are wrong. Get ready for another round of idiots (like me three years ago) how many lasted? Ninety percent gave up and are getting it from some one else now. Like Bob Marley said, you know it but you can't do it. Referring to his music. Lots of peeps try growing this plant to PERFECTION but few are analytical enough to do it. Bring on the bugs and pm, I will grow better meds/smoke than you.

I would like to see more coverage of candidates besides liar party one and two especially in the debates. The media has too much influence on who runs OUR country. I voted for Obama last time because "he was different" and turns out he's not too far off from George W before him.

Here is the thing boys and girls none of the so called props " 2 thru 6 " rise to the qualification of a constitutional ammendment. the constitution of both our state and union are reserved for those things that are your inalienable rights. bargaining rights 2, 4, were you get your power from 3 , who builds what where when 6, none of these thing are your rights they are special interest groups and nothing more . once again someone with a good idea or someone who doesn't like something passes a law except this time they are constitutional ammendments if you understand what this means you have to vote no on 2-6 on this bases alone . learn from history my friends rome was the perfect place to live for the senators. until the passed so many laws it became a daily fight to survive literately.

one more thought coal energy currently cost under 12 cents per kilowatt. wind and solar currently hits closer to 23 cents per. no mandate from a gov. will make any company sell something for less then it cost them, power companies are regulated in their profit. 1000w bulbs expensive to run now? they soon will be. who pays to build this new infrastructure, one guess. We currently can't afford to update and maintain our current electric grid and it it deteriorating.

Solar Power Cost Per kWh
A useful figure to use when looking at solar is cost per kWh, as this can be directly compared to your current power bill. A National Renewable Energy Laboratory report spanning 7 U.S states, gives a levelised cost of solar of between $0.28 and $0.46 per kWh for residential solar systems. This excludes the U.S federal tax credit and other subsidies [3].

I agree it's a tough call on the lesser if 2 evils this time. But good things have happened in the community in the last 4 years.

Lots of people trying but their's lots quitting too. That made me laugh. This guy at the dispensary was trying to enlighten me with his "Knowledge" of cannabis. Dude wouldn't shut up so I finally had to cut him off to get outta there. So full of shit. Ive seen his wares.o_O And the other stuff on his shelves.

I guess I have always paid more for better quality products wether it was choosing Marlboro over the roll your owns or deWalt over black n decker or conisuer grade cannabis over poorly selected poorly grown weed
We all can get home grown from noobs for 165 or can pay 400 and up for a quality grown, trimmed and cured buds. In my personal situation I have keeper strains that demand a certain price and stuff I run from seed looking for something special which 90% of the time I ask much less for. I'd rather it be legal and have no risk of jail time than get a few more dollars a zip.

Swisscheese. I know you didn't say you would rather have Romney so prices would go up and were merely pointing out a side. Politics is not a hill I'm gonna stand and fight on. I just have loved the freedom of the current laws. I am also not trying to give credit to Obama for any med mj rights. I just have seen these links in other readings and wanted to share them as I felt they were negative for the community.
I would love more input on the proposals as well. Factual input not the commercial bullets.
