Hey 420Gator, interesting question. i occasionally run across some of these . . . they always make me stop and think. i assume that you're referring to members who are still actively lurking and sometimes contributing.

we should start a list, take "nominations".

i'll start with Juzam . . . 2 yrs. 8 months . . . 30 posts.

There are probably lots of folks who sign up then never visit the site, but then again you can see when they last visited. Nerd alert!

I've been lurking, big time, no where near as much as some I suspect, just can be another opportunity to be Mr Shit for some cats like me.
I got a PM inquiring and then kind of requesting some seeds on another forum, I sent the seeds, they got stolen in the mail, I felt like an arsehole, I then sent the other half of the pack in a much heavier, and costlier package which I was very pleased, initially, made it to their destination.

They where some scarce seeds, I doubt they will be seen again. I did all this out of my own pocket, at this point I am down at least £ 100. I really don't have much money.

I wasn't expecting anything out of all this, but do you know what I got?

Being slagged off to all and sundry, no good deed goes unpunished, you can take that to the bank.

There is a reason why some people lurk, if you stick your head up above the parapet, can be an unforgiving environment sometimes, even without straight up free-loading scumbags.

Been here since 2009 or 2010, around the time DoubleD med buckets were the big topic. I check the site daily when not working, have posted very few times....mostly because I can't really think of anything to add to a topic. I guess I just would rather read and learn.

I am a Canadian legal grower from BC, female, usually grew from clone but have purchased seeds a couple of different times. Recently finished up some Cindy 99 BX1 which went over really well. Waiting for my LAD to arrive, got big hopes for it!

Things in my world here are nowhere near some of the set ups I see on this site, not really having great DIY skills doesn't help much and doing this in a trailer is definitely hard. I have 2 rooms, 4 lights each and big hydro bills because of the ac needed. I am interested in organics and have read tons about it (here and on other sites). I just can't seem to wrap my brain around it enough to give it a real shot, it seems less scary to just pour stuff out of a bottle and watch the girls grow.

I did order some of Cap's bennies, brewed a tea following the instructions posted here. Yesterday I gave some plants a full strength dose, others a cup/5gal dose and the rest just straight nutes so now I'm just waiting to see what the differences might be.

Well, this turned out to be an awful long post, but a great way to avoid working in the garden. That's it for now. Might be another couple of years before I get the urge to speak up!

4th post in almost two years but Im always here reading. gator I know that scrog before your vacation didnt turn out as expected but I was thoroughly impressed

you have been here since dec 3 , 2009 click on yourself and it will tell u and you have posted 38 times .... and you signed up on my 20th wedding anv ....fwiw @papa can't a moderator go in and see who signed up first and in what order or has time and new stuff changed that, when did this site start , i don't believe i have seen anyone before 2008 and are we the most membered sight out of them all....... besides i'm sure overgrown ..... oh well its the only one i visit regularly and don't see that changing as 95% of the people are awesome.... alot of people prob don't post much for security reason's i'm sure also.......
