With previous seeds, I have taken a few clones off each plant and then put it into flower to sex it. This time, because of my plant count, I'm thinking of throwing them all into flower first and then re-vegging the females. I'm a little afraid of doing this tho, re-vegged a plant a few years back and It's the only time I have ever had seeds in my finished product so..........is it worth the risk?

I also did something a little different this time. After sprouting them, I put them into a very small amount of soil in their cups. Now that they are very tall & leggy, I have filled the cups up to the top. They are pretty fragile so I hope I didn't just damage all of them. No going back now tho!

Your fine, just don't overwater them and make sure they have good flouro or low intensity light.

Don't do the revegg...it'll take so long. Just do the cuts into 12/12 while they root and show you sex and then kill em to lower your count.

I have others (not the ones in the cups) that will go 12/12 in a couple of weeks. I usually clone a 6 pack of each plant before flipping them, sounds like that's the best route to go. Thanks for such a quick reply:) And yes, these little GIRLS (fingers crossed) are under a fluoro and I'm very cautious about watering.

Kind of had the same Question have 6 LAD's currently only 10 days old. So when is the cutoff for taking cuts once they show their sex (like how many days into flower should you not take cuts)

You can get away with a few days of 12/12 sometimes before taking cuts off a plant but if the plant getting cloned has any IDEA it's flowering time it will hinder your cutting. Take em before flower.

Good luck bro! Sexing is easy once you get the hang of it, but it already sounds like you know how to. :)

Yeah got the sexing down, I was taking cuts from my first run two weeks into flowers and I ran them 5 times. Now that i'm starting fresh with LADS ,didn't want to shock them after what Baba G said. Thinking of vegging them 5-6 weeks taking cuts from all and marking them.

Baba G Always gives sound advice!

I have found out the hard way,
Revegs Plants are not a good thing..and should be avoided..
it changes the strutor of the plant too sometimes
They are also more susceptible to molds

good advise, but would like to add that you can take cuts 2-3wks in flower and root them without any problems.
just make sure your plants has some lower side branching before you take any in 12/12.

I agree they will actually root faster due to hormones in the beginning of flower but they will not grow or veg as fast as seamless as a clone from a non flowering plant. And, the reveg plants never yield the exact same as the healthier non stunted plants that don't go through that. FWIW
I've flowered many reveggers and the plant will look healthy as it revegs but won't have the vigor of one that isn't revegged.

I would never advise to take clones off anything flowering for more than 48 hours unless that is your only chance to keep said varietal alive.

Well then it's settled ! Vegging longer taking a lot of cuts, marking them, sexing then maybe keep one male, might dust my old tired mom from the ECSD pictured on the left. Never know what could happen with a LAD crossed with ECSD :)
