Thats rigt folks, the time has come for things to be changin round these parts. I finally aquried most of the goodies on Aliens feed recipe, and tea recipe, so i guess no time like the present.
some of the strains in this run are gonna be as follows
Sour Pebbles
Sour Lemon Aliendawg
Galactic Tahoe
Star Fighter
Kraken #'s 1 3 and 4
7 Ghosts #'s 4 and 1
Alin Optimus
and last but not least FPOG #3
Some of the above are clones from last rounds seed run,and some are seed stock. Before these even go into the pool for a soak, i do have a few questions cause i really dont wanna fuck up any of these beans. Im gonna be starting off all the seeds in straight up roots soil witha couple ammendments. Extra perlite, and i have the Glaical dust. Im still looking for the oyster shell calciuma and the Leonadtie ( Humic). Ca these seeds be planted in the mix without those last two items?? i Really wanna get these beans soaking no later than tommorw after work.Im planning on just plain water for hopefully the first two weeks or so, then start workin with some teas during veg. Im kinda hoping on somehelp from some of yo organic folks aon some guidance along the way when it comes to the feeding in veg.
Whn it comes to CAP's bennies, im gonna pretty much stick to the numbers for teas, but my questions right from the get go is what im puttin in the medium to start. Am i rightgoin with 1 tspn per gal of medium for the root pack, and 1/4 tspn per gal of the nute pack? Can i add too much of this or no?? Also was wondering when i water the seedlings durin the first two weeks, do i use any of the bennies in the water, or is straight tap ok?
I hope yall will bear with me here, this is a completely new learning experience for me, so dont hold it agianst me along the way if i stumble here and there. As long as i dont kill any plants this first run ill be more than content with the switch over.
Delae, Aline, Waayne, and any of you other kick ass organic growers out there wanna chime in ad help me out, id greatly apprecitae it. Im fortunate to have gotten my paws on some of these genetics, and i really would hate to loose any due to mistakes i make from the switch over.
The cat whom helped me obtain some of these genetics, bro you are the man, and i greatly appreciate what ya did for me! and i wont soon forget it. Also a monster thanks as always to brother Alein, for creating such fire ass gear, and sharing it with the masses. Without your gear, and inspirations from you andseveral others here, this journal wouldnt even be started. Thanks to all
Alright enhough BS'n already, Yall stop back in for pics of everyone goin into the pool tommorow, and the start of this show

Peace
Ken
one hell of a lineup kendog, a lot of good info offered on earlier posts. I would suggest if you have the means to start your seeds in at least two different mixes, it protects against total failure and u can see which works better for u. when I mix for seedlings I keep it light u can always add 1/4 strength fert, its a lot easier that trying to flush. if u want to add amendments mix them in the bottom 1/3 of your container by the time the seedlings roots reach it they hopefully can handle it. I always add beneficials in my water when I first mix. I have read that it can take two weeks for mycorrhizae to inoculate roots so the sooner the better. hope this helps. I use pro-mix by the way. good luck. peace

Nice lineup bro.. And congrats on making the switch to organics... You're going to love the results bro.. Can't beat some well grown organic herbs... Can't wait for the show.. Them GT's and SLADs have my attention... There's some beast's in those GTs bro... Good luck..… ~ODB~

Hey rollon, thanks for the info, its apprecited. After speakin with Waayne, i think im gonna for sure be goin with the LW for the seeds. If they need along the way then they will get and take it from there. Baby steps hahaha

Peace
Ken

Yes sir i run organics. I like to use happy frog mixed with some ancient forest and mykos from extreme gardening. I dont have to feed anything but ph water for 3 weeks. I just drop the seed straight in the soil and let it do its thang.
Once again, thanks for the help and info Cheesey, man i thinking with eveyrone chimming in here, and all the info in the forums, it shouldnt be as bad as i think, and maybee even go somewhat smoothly. Time will tell

Peace
Ken

Black Gold seedling starter would be my first choice followed by Light Warrior
I tend to let seedlings get established before giving them any kind of additives at all, with the exception of a bit of H/F and a little of Caps nute pack

Good luck!
Hey Waayne, man i talked to my buddy down at the shop, and hes actually gonna order some of the black gold for me. It wont be here in time to plant the seeds, so the LW is gonna have to do, but i will have it for the first upcan and that makes me happy.
Whats H?F up above?? happy frog? and i will be using a lil of Caps goodies by his reccomendationsin the threads. Man thanks so very much for all the info and help youve given me the last couple days. Kinda honored to be learning a thing or two from ya, just gotta apply it all, and keep the plants haapy and doin their thing.

Peace and thanks!
Ken

Yeah Ken Dog, Those are some great strains to be running!
Gonna be fire for sure..

I use Happy frog for seedlings..lots of good stuff in it.
But its not too hot
No need to feed....(maybe a drop per gal of Seagreen)
When they grow too big for the party cup,
i transplant into more HF and then no need to feed for 3 more weeks(strain dependent I guess)

Welcome aboard Ken, yet another organic farmer, fuckin awesome. Thanks for the input. I knew i could count on tons of folks chimmin in here and throwing out the knowledge. Maybee i mix the LW and Hf???
A far as the strains, i couldnt be happier to have the chance to run some of these gems. All thanks to a damn good dude here at the Farm, Madd crazy props again to ya my brother for makin these gentics avaiable to me

Peace bro

Sweet line up man! This is going to be a bad ass grow. I'm stoked you're trying out soil and organics. I really think you'll dig it.

I know big waayne likes to use LW and he has great results. I used it once for a 100 bean pop and absolutely hated it. I had major deficiencies, seedling death, and ended up with a high M/F ratio. I don't know if I just got a funky batch or what but I'll never use it again. I prefer just using Happy Frog, Greenfields or Ocean Forest with a little added perlite.
