So everything is trimmed up and in jars. I'm happy to say I had a pretty successful run even though I lost 5 of my 32 ladies. I definitely learned a lot this time around tho and I'm excited to implement my new knowledge into my next run!
Very true! This is what's known as the cambium layer. The plants first layer of skin under its bark or hardened exterior. A thin layer of tissue which transports nutrients and water. A damaged plant will have a good chance of recovering as long as the cambium layer is in tact and functioning.
Harvest day! 64 days in and theyre getting chopped. I would have liked to have fed them more and let them go longer but I started flushing to early. Still gonna turn out to be some super bomb though just wont get as good as of a yield.
Makes sense being that stativas are the more stretchy strains. I know the headband I grew in the past had similar traits to this glue and headband is a sativa dominant strain.
Thanks I didn't know their are specific reasons as to why calyx's do this but if I had to take a guess their a bit under fed. Or could this be natural for this strain? Anyway I'm probably going to be harvesting at the 63-65 day mark since they are yellowing so fast.
I just started flushing these ladies the other day so it's only another 10-12 days until chop. I was originally going to flush them with a low dose of humic acid and bud candy but my water ppm has been so high I think I'm going to do without this run.
Thanks man. These ladies got about another 17 days until harvest then apx 10-14 days dry time. So they'll be trimmed up and in jars in about a month or so. Ready to smoke after a week or two of curing.
Looks great @Shamus I'm really looking forward to watching your skunks. Some of my most favorite smoke was some skunk I had a few years back. That's a really nice tent setup btw @FooDoo and I want to see your tent @Shamus when you got all 4k running. I want to do a 10x10 tent with 4k for my next...
