23rd June (today)we had a bit of sun some rain, some more rain and then a bit more sun.

Hey CC, you and I have much in common brother farmer, we are sharing the same weather systems, climate, limited direct sunlight and damn daily rainfall!

I like to chuck a little pollen and make beans whenever I can, it seems like a good way to work with the best plants we come across. I have a few seeds and was testing the blue rhino's for viability and yep their viable! Nothing for it now but to let them do their thing :-)

Nice to meet a local! I'll be sure to stay tuned in and see how they get along as our "summer" progresses. All the more interesting as you've created these ones yourself, something i'm interested in getting into down the line.

Nice to make your acquaintance and I'll be checking in on your outdoor exploits also. Its nice to see how diffrernt strains fare in the great UK outdoors. Breeding is an interesting area of the hobby and makes it both interesting and economical to try something different or to fine tune a strain.

I find it hard to buy seeds now. Some of the best strains by the best breeders come as regular seeds, it seems such a waste to kill males!

Nice to meet you also! Looks like we've got a bit of sunshine again today so will be getting out there later to see how things are going for another update.

Definitely interesting seeing how all these different ones go. There's gotta be the odd strain that will thrive in our conditions, just gonna be an adventure in discovering them!

I know it's all about the girls with these plants, but there's something appealing about the look of the male with all the seeds

From the weather reports we're in for a full week of sun - seeing is believing as they say!
But fingers crossed, I'd really like some bushy girls before the end of the season.

The male pictured above is one of the best I've seen yet and I've stored some of his pollen for later use. He's covered in it and could have made and will make hundreds of seeds. He had really good traits, like the stink he had, the heavy branching, the heavy 'flowering' for want of a better word and really good growth in veg.

There's nothing like growing your own strain especially when you've inbred it for a number of generations and have really stable genetics.

I think if we get all the factors right and use something with enough indica in, so that it doesn't have too long a flowering time and good resistance to damp and mould, we might be alright developing a heavy yielding UK outdoor strain. Something with a bit of Maui or Blueberry in it, as well as some Affie, then back crossed to Affie again to pass on heavy indica traits? Already sounds interesting!

Thanks CC. This year brother, this year. Its exciting watching the ladies starting to fill out and more than that, its a journey of learning and discovery. I think we've caught the season about right for some very nice bushes. And if the weekend delivers some long hours of sun, i'm gonna literally be watching the girls grow! I think I'll add some containers of water in the 'greenhouse' (come shack) to keep up the humidity.

I'm pleased with the way the white cheese has filled the screen, its filled out. I'm gonna go look at your purdy ladies now brother :)

Time for an update, where the babies at?

5, of the remaining 9 Blue Rhino's, 3 showing female Pre - flowers in this group.

The smaller and less developed plants / poor looking males have been discarded.

The White Cheese has filled its screen nicely.
