Actually I have an FPOG that will do this. I will post some pics later of buds I took down and they still had at least 2 weeks to fill out. I just couldnt wait for them this time. Got a bunch of starfighters and cookies that desperately need a new home.

I will eagerly await ur post.

That's not really a tree, pretty though. I am one of those manufactures of all sizes of tanks, but I that recommend a 36 gal. I tell each and every client it is not so much for the harvest weight, but for the ease of growing and the health of the plant. It cost about 100 funtickets more for a 36 then a 20 but it is woth it in the long run I believe. I know for a fact my roots look better in 36 gal and larger.
Krusty's buckets were just a 5 gal buckets stacked in another 5 gal with high compressed air feeding the roots.More of a nft setup. But I would put those cheap ass buckets up against the UC's for explosive growth.Nothing like dd's sys. I modified that sys somewhat 10 years or so ago by using 3.5 in a 6gal bucket and more low pressure flow with bigger drains. I could not stand the noise of krusty's system. I learned more running that system then any other. I lead me to my designs which I am sure krusty would say they are pieces of shit. I believe my first post on the internet was with that cranky foul-mouthed bastard. It probably set up my style of writing on the internet.
Cap last time I found that thread was using some flash back site that reefer turned me on to. That pic was from that thread I believe. Someone has the thread copied at the Cabana but I can not recall who. You might ask at gypomatics site.SYK was the webmaster at that Krusty bucket system site he might have a copy of that thread.Shame that site with south.
Suerte JK
here's one for ya Cap. demonstrates the bs behind dd's claim (continuing to be used even recently by ignorant fanboys) that big buckets are better, or even necessary, for growing trees.

Run some hells angel og in my system or other similar systems. You would be pleasantly surprised. JK
Cap ive seen that picture before, and i always wondered what the quality of those buds were. I mean, nice yielding and all but in my limited experience plants that have the propencity to put out that big dont yield the quality that the cali market demands. in 2013, good luck moving all that mid grade(unless u gotta outta town conect.)

For some reason I can not edit any longer. I threw out that HA OG because it is easily available. My bubba/paki, tangelo kush, and even the mcfly will go that big. JK

that second post I like the consistant size of growth for the whole room. I pic I commented on( and the second post) will not be trees unless that is a week 4 pic.If it is a week 4 of ten then it more then likely will become a tree. I believe a tree starts at a kg. and I would not call my plants trees unless I avg 2.5. You got to have a upper limit to grow into. Its like all these surfers getting 10's at contests. Whats wrong with having just a beefed out bush, and work your way up to a tree. JK

is that this?
DSC03216 800x600 copy

There are differences between the rooms. The lack of supports in the second picture, the different colored tubes running on the floor.
I'm doing my due diligence based off the names dropped but you haven't dropped any yet. lol

If you wanna just poker face and keep posting up pics that's cool too.

edit: I thought a tree was anything you could hide behind.

I wouldnt think that was possible if u didnt post that pix papa. Ive seen cap growing large bushes in a 2-3 gal(right) size system but those lil trees are impressive for that size container. I new bigger wasnot always better but i thought that there was some correlation to the root mass to foliage ratio and specifically the wider the root mass the wider the plant. now i have to re think that.

lol so are they krusty buckets? With something other than BC big bud? Are the krusty buckets run to waste or recirculating?

Sorry for posting a bunch of stupid comments in your thread Ty.
I'm just laughing my ass off at how big these are, I am literally giggling like a child looking at them.

"hell, at my place we'd hardly call that a rooted cutting." hehe

j/k, jk. i very much appreciate your high standards.

to clarify, these pics are just from a collection i've amassed over the years. unfortunately, i didn't collect thorough information about them at the time. 'probably too distracted by the impact of the damn photos. 'forgot if those were actual grows by krusty or someone else. maybe jk or others can remember.

I remember that run....it was a ebb and flow system.....huge warehoue. Can't remember the members name either though.

Now if you want to see a real tree google Tom Hill's 10lb+ "snowcap". People who like trunk porn will cream their jeans. JK

I'm not looking to break records, just achieve some consistency.
To keep your sanity that's the only way to go. Find a cut and learn to kill it. Then trade that for something else rather then grow something else. I have friends grow out a nice strain well then see's something else a friend grows. they grab that and end up losing 50% of the rooms capacity because now they have to learn what that strain likes. About 4 years ago I ran 16+(off two rez's) strains for a friend looking for the best. I would rather cut my dick off then try that again JK

I'm learning this lesson the hard way- I have an embarrassment of varietal riches and more coming every week . I have long suspected I need to just pick a strain and run it.

A good friend of mine has been saying he's "switching to 1 stain only and that's final" for the last 8 years. He's always trying the newest stuff anyway just to see. I don't know that one can escape the curiosity of wondering if or not this or that will do better with the same setup.
