A PLC is a Programmable Logic Controller, it has multiple inputs, switched, analog or digital and converts these input trigger to control and monitor outputs.

Heres my sub panel setup for 12 lights. How would I set up a PLC for this system? There is also an identical subpanel controlling another 12 lights for the same room that is adjacent to it. These pictures looks like child's play compared to some of the others on this thread. :clown:

The PLC wouldn't really work, you only have two contactors to power off and on. If you installed more contactors, then it would be feasible.

Olyver, awsome show for sure!
I'm in no need yet for that kind of mastery. But I would like to get your view and advice on how to source high qaulity parts to build a humidity controller to turn on my commercial dehumidifier and maybe some intake and out take fans.
Tired of the grow house Chinese junk.
And maybe a way to control by turning on/off a 220 device such as my 28kbtu wall units a/c's because their thermostats aren't very accurate at all.
send me a link to your site and I will contact you and purchase this from you.
thanks,
B.
