Wife was a captain in the Army.
She took care of the amputee's coming home from Nam.
Would not say a thing when they fired it up in the Va hospitals.
She is sad still to this day the treatment the vets get after the sacrifice they made.
I have read the letters from her patients and it's amazing how much loving care she and the other nurses gave these men, real young men..
Above and beyond the call of duty.

I just want to say that I'm very appreciative of all vets. My dad was navy in Vietnam my grandpa was a p.o.w in world War 2 .no shit got clippings downloaded. My hat goes off too you guys. It's just too bad it seems lately it's not about freedom but $$$$$ I would of followed I was in cadets and armed forces was a dream... At 12 I got into trouble and my dreams broke.
.....I REMEMBER. . NEVER FORGET

10 yrs active duty Air Force here...loved it...can't say what I did but I had a TS security clearance...by the time I had gotten out I had been to more places, seen more and done more things than most people ever will in their entire lives...it shaped me into becoming a successful business person later in life... it also left me with a HUGE drinking problem trying to forget some of it...now, I don't drink and only smoke weed...

Anyone interested in starting a veterans for the legalization of marijuana organization?

Longtime veteran here fighting the War on Drugs. And still fighting it.

This "Veterans for Medical Cannabis" group has helped draft provisions in the CARERS ACT and other federal bills to allow VA docs to recommend MMJ. They are growing daily with more members.

This group is well organized and becoming a very strong lobby in Congress. Please see the video below of the CARERS press kickoff, with powerful testimony from military vet TJ Thompson.

Sorry about cross posting this in a few threads but we want to get the word out to help people with PTSD.

The MAPS (Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies) will have a booth set up at "Participation Row" in Levi Stadium BLUE #4 parking lot. Look for the "blue and white balloons" to find us. The BLUE LOT 4 lot will open at 3 PM.

(1) We have a camera crew and are looking for any people with PTSD or medical conditions to give video testimonials on how MDMA, Weed, LSD, Mushrooms, etc have helped their life- or simply talk about how they hope MAPS mission to cure resistant PTSD will succeed. Their last research study had a 83% cure rate of war veterans with severe PTSD with a therapist led session taking MDMA (aka Ecstasy) and talking thru their trauma.

(2) We are looking for volunteers to simply hand out the flyer (see attached PDF), we will have tens of thousands of flyers printed out and simply need help distributing them to heads before the show starts at 7 PM!

If you cannot find the MAPS booth, PM me I will give my mobile number so we can connect.
