ok pictures sorted so let get up to date
Let me start with my big problem
BLOODY THRIPS!
You can see all the little bite marks in the leaves
I had to cut off a lot of the infested leaves just to make the job of spraying them easier. That's why there is a pile of leaves in the bottom corner of some pictures. Good news is that there are nowhere near as many in the tent now. I will be cutting everything down and doing a full sterilization of the tent once the new seeds are ready.
Here are some of the potential mothers that have got a bit too old so they will be grown to bud or killed to make space for new mothers. I do have 4 more younger plants in pots at about 2 weeks old and I have 4 week old plants in cups. So I have a full backup plan in place!
The one in the back right is nearly done and is starting to swell up nicely, I think about a week more before I chop her.
This is the one in the 12 litre pot. I had to cut off the most leaves from her but she seems to have taken it well and is growing again nicely.
And finally the new one being reversed. These pics are after a week of spraying
As you can see no obvious signs that it is turning male yet
But you can just start to see the cauliflower effect the males show when they flower
I am itching to go and take new shots now. I am definitely a happy chap now! The moral of the story for me was don't give bad instructions and expect good results!
Don't worry I put myself on the naughty step for that error!
