Theyre two, two foot four bulbs.

Thanks for the tip ill give it a shot buddy.

Welcome to T's thread. Its pretty awesome up in here. Some very knowledgeable cats frequent this spot

Should be fine unless its a really long cord and thin gauge.your pulling less than 100w per t5 fixture plus the 2 small fans so maybe 500 watts total? Your cord might be stamped what size it is,if its longer than 50 feet and smaller than 14ga i would find a better extension cord just to be safe.contractor cords are usually 12 or 10ga,pretty cheap fix.always go a short as possible with ext cords.

Hey guys... Looking for some easy seeds to work with for novice grower...looking for faster then usual delivery... If anyone can help pm me pls... Thanks

Pretty sure you've been warned about asking for stuff once already. Best to not post these kind of questions at all. The seedbank here is solid and I won't recommend any others simply because I read the ToS and don't want to violate any rules.

Some easy strains for novices are Northern Lights, White Widow and most indicas. Sativas are more finicky and many hybrids can be real pains. If you're just looking for a quick harvest without messing with the light schedule or anything like that, get some autos.

Excellent pics recently!! (Miko, Seaf0ur [also circuit haha], Izzyi2d, Stumpy420, Lazerus00)

@miko Glad to see you stop by!! Are you running organic btw? How are you liking the HPS vs CMH?
(have my trusty Bullrider, a keeper Fuel, a keeper Cannatonic, pheno hunting Blueberry x Vimana and testing a couple Tranquil Elephantizer)
Can you tell me how these things work? Not technically and inner workings, but how does the temp controller connect to my fan?
Sure np. Now I have the humidity controller but looking at things; it would appear the wiring is the same. They come with manuals also. Here's a quick pic of mine. The temp sensor only has pins 1,2,3,4 open and I believe 5,6 are the temp sensor (7,8,9 are not ported with temp controller)
Controller wiring

Also I noted the temperature controller linked was a C version instead of F. Here is F if someone prefers (can also get them in 12v and 220v) http://www.ebay.com/itm/LED-Digital-110V-Temperature-Controller-Temp-Sensor-Thermostat-Control-Relay-US-/361270663293?hash=item541d68d87d:g:0REAAOSwqu9VLgaF

Both the temp and humidity controllers will have settings for either Heat / Cool or Humid / Dehumid. Then you have a set point. Finally they have a hysteresis or variance setting; you can adjust how far from set point, Temp or Humidity go, before switching.
Hey im curious bc i think i read somewhere that you are not supposed to run a 1000w ballast with an extension cord?? Is this true? Like if I was using 2 ballast for one tent but wanted to run them off of diff parts of my electrical box so i plugged one in using like a 10ft extension cord, would that be ok???
If your only running 10' (total extension cord length), then you can run as small as 14 gauge. (12 if you want extra).
Here's a chart that compares required gauge of wire, relative to length and current draw.
DC wire selection chartlg

This is rating for DC, however the AMP rating will be the same for AC. Voltage drop may be different depending on the type of load.
If anyone is unsure of their amp draw (or even wattage), be sure to get a "Kill-a-watt" meter from you local hardware store.

Ok let me clear this up, you can ask "Whatever " you want hence the title. Obviously meaning diffrent strains etc, as far as other seed venues you should probably post in a personal message. But your good bro.

Dnt know if there's a problem but he's extremely new to this thread and i guided him here, and told him what a great group of guys this is, but you coming across like this isnt helping. Dnt even get me started but its a thread about whatever. So we can help new growers. I will leave at that. Ask whatever questions you like.

So recommend some strains for him HERE.

Oh hps much better... But lot hotter... But with a new huge 5 ton AC... Heat isn't a problem these days.
My setup works pretty good, first 2-4 weeks of flower they are under 315 watt lec... Then they move under the 1000w...

Thinking of starting a private Facebook group called Growers United or FarmFam C.G. United, whats you guys opinion? Ive seen a bunch of bullshit egotistical groups, that hate sharing photos and info, some are nutrient line specific of gardening style specific so there's no open mindedness, only division instead of unification on info, and i want to be a place like this thread but able to each reach many more growers than we have here. Also we wouldn't be binded to any of the rules there are here. Open talk freely on clones, beans ,many distributors etc. Me & tnelz have also been toying opening a site similar to here but to a little more liberal. Hit me back let me know if its something yall would like to see or join, the private fb group and eventually a site hit me up,let me know some opinions and recommendations

Have you tried 2-315 or a 630cmh, to see how much beter the yield will be compared to the hps, because in my opinion cmh grows the best indoor cannabis, it definitely test higher in thc and other cannabinoids its been proven in recent test the cmh tested at 22%thc why the double ended gavita 1000w only hit 17% and if you can get the same yield of higher quality bud out of a 630w cmh its a no brainer and they run cooler than a 1000w hps. Cmh and led will be the future of indoor lighting
