I have 6 plants that are under 4' T8s. Bought them as clones at the local Med place a few months back. They are about 4' tall, have been topped/pinched once are in 2 gal fabric pots and are been fed Pro Grow Veg and Pro Grow Karma nutes with every watering.

On the weekends, I have been setting them out in the full sun during the day and then moving them inside in the late afternoon for the rest of the 18 light. During the week, they stay inside - gotta work you know.

So I noticed that some of them have started to flower. Could it be possible that they have been confused by the full sun on the weekend and the T8s aren't strong enough. It appears that the flowering is more pronounced on the lower branches.

What should I do? Continue to veg or put them in the bloom room with Lazy Dog that is already 4 weeks into flowering?

Are they just pre-flowers or are they busting out hairs everywhere?
If just showing preflowers then ur good, just means the plant is mature for flowering.
If they are busting out, then flip it. put it with Lazy Hillary...um Dog...sorry...lol

I'd like to add that you might be able to stop this by pulling them out of the pots and trimming the roots back kinda hard. I know you said they're in fabric pots, but I find myself wondering if the roots have hit the edge of the horizon, so to speak. I've found that rootbound plants flower earlier and faster than those that have lots of room.

Took the words right out of my mouth :) I've not personally experienced this with root bound plants but was at the local hydro store a few month back and we was talking about root bound plants and there effects and he had some plants there that was root bound and was auto flowering. And from the description few month old plants that are 4' tall in 2 gal pots it's probably a good call to say the roots are being compromised. When I've had issues with root bound plants I don't cut pieces of it I just put 4 cuts on the bottom repot give it a week of root stim followed by a week of super thrive and some zym and there good as new

I am thinking I will take the easy route and throw it into the bloom room. It's just a clone from a local dispensary. She can join the Lazy Dog clone and the Grand Daddy Purple that are already in there.

So back to the root bound issue. When I was buying the fabric pots from my local hydro store guy said that the girls would do fine in 2 gal pots and could live their entire lives in them. Now I am hearing that my plants are prob root bound. So should I have gotten bigger fabric pots to begin with?

Also my original plant - Lazy Dog - that started me down this path in December is in 3 gallon plastic pot (recycled from store bought plant). How can I keep her from auto-flowering i.e. how do growers keep their main girl in veg state? Do I need to upsize the pot or pull her out of the 3 gal, trim some roots and put her back into the 3 gal with some new coco?

I noticed that the plant in question is also growing 1 finger and 3-finger fan leaves...down from the 5 or 7 fingers. I believe this is another sign of a plant trying to flower but getting too much light which leads to confusion.

I repot them every few months, which is not to say they're up-potted, just repotted. I believe I posted that I cut back the root ball as well as giving her a hard haircut. 1/3 is fine.

can it be from a plant that was grown from an autoflower seed?
NOOOO do not fuck with autos or u will regret it transplant the seedling into the pot u intend to finish in and be carefull not to over water as this can be easily done with the size of medium. I never give my plants more than they can drink in 2 days. Hope this helps :)
