Upping container sizes for yield?

I start in beer cup, veg in 8" flower in 12". A lot of this is very strain dependent. I believe if your going for the fast and basically easy route veg for height like about 20" to 26" then top and wait a day or two and flip. This doesn't require a bigger pot in coco. Other way. If your going to grow and trim to fit your situation like low ceiling then you need a min of 3 gal much bigger is not necessary and 5gal is heavy. One gives you more output but the other takes 10 to 18% less time. Which is better?? The Med. weed business is growing for a determined and given final Product. In time I believe you will get less high and more Med's. That is the nature of mother nature I am an old warrior retired and a biker I am after the buzz that said if you smoke the same weed every day you build a tolerance. I like to grow faster to keep some of everything rather than a pickup load. Of just one.

As commercial growers have changed the farming industry with chemistry and gmo which is the same thing happening to Weed now.
Corn is one thing wish they would take there time a little hell if they had there way we will have round-up ready weed soon. I hope they rot in hell but that is my opinion.

Do you think 10 litre pots would be adequate ? I am doing coco grow in 1.2 x 1.2 x 200 m grow tent. using 600 watt dimmable balast 600 watt dual spectrum bulb.

Ive used 1 gl fabric pots,3 gl fabric pots and 5gl containers. IMHO the 1gl pots dry out quickly Eventhough you can do the whole run its not advisable. In the 3gl container it was epic i had a few 5gl pots for mothers and was forced to use them and sure enough had a slightly bigger yield and didnt have to water more than once a day. My take on this is with 5gl pots you give the plants a little more space so they receive more light. The 5gl container never got completely filled by the root ball so i would have to say there was some waste there. Both in nutes and in medium. I used rockwool for a long time before finding CoCo, those that have used it know that you can grow huge monsters in a relatively small cube. The big momma and the hugo are grodans largest and theyre both no larger than a 2gl fabric pot. I believe that if you slightly undersize the container and allow the root mass to completely fill out the container you can utilize the nutes more efficiently. Of course youll have to feed 2 to 3 times a day. PEACE !!!

With 3 weeks of veg you can prob get by with 3 gal pots even if you're hand watering. Small containers of coco yield quite well but then you get into veg time vs watering and if hand watering that can be a PITA. Hell the stuff that sat in my veg room for almost 3 months are sitting in 10 gals. 7-8 weeks of veg and i will fill a 5 gal with roots to where its just a solid chunk. With that kind of setup 2 should be a bare minimum. Anything less and I would change something quick. I would more look into canopy management/ scrogging. That's where your numbers are gonna hit.
