Ah ok i know the plants grow towards the light source but i didn't now it fell under the term plasticity. So the same plant grown and cloned for generations in different locations until the individual plants are different - is that plasticity or genetic drift?
The strain that we used to grow, it was all we ever grew was a local clone only called "G".We had it for years, i guess it was what would be called a road kill skunk i think. Nothing has ever matched her for yield. Wasn't top shelf by todays standards. After years it lost a bit of vigour and became hard to clone so we put it in a plant pot on a balcony for a whole summer. We heard that helps refresh a strain, probably a load of bollocks but we thought we would try it out. When we brought it back in and flowered it it was hugely different. different terps, different structure and prone to bud rot but it had the vigour again. You would not have known it was the same plant, weird huh?
No.its the ability to grow differently to adapt to each situation.for example say there was a grow of cuts outside.all cuts the same having a wide branching pattern but one of those cuts has been planted between 2 big rocks shadin all but the centre so that cut grows straight up without branching much just because were it was grown.if a plant without plasticity would just grow as normal in the same situation.
does that make sense?

Hi yall.... hey @Ecompost can you guess which one is wildchild? Its reggies legacy x orange crush from what my bud was telling me.
Ha any of them could be it buddy, mine where mostly short, big arse fat fans, stocky frame, tastes like Rhubarb and looks like this ...this is 1 bud from each :-) The darker orange haired bud was nicer, taller,, very nice bud formation, more a cone, less a golf ball, I found one from 4 planted. Its very moreish and a great daytime blaze for me
