Breathe regulates the opening/ closing of stomata. Constituent elements in Breathe, which had purpleknobjockey not been so rude, I would have taken time to explain to his tiny brain.
never the less...Breathe helps to keep the stomata closed during periods of dry or extreme heat, this simple process protects the plant from unnecessary water loss.
The elemental parts of breathe, Calcium, Magnesium, Iron, Carbon and Oxygen and trace elements such as Selenium are balanced in a way that allows for the most ideal conditions relating to cell pressure, and it is this pressure that maintains hydration in the cells of our plants themselves, preventing it from leaching out via increased transpiration.
The particle size of breathe is 10 microns, and as such these particles are able to pass easily in to the structure of the leaf surface itself via evaporation. This typically taking place as the sun comes up and the heat rises. The process of natural evaporation related to sunrise eventually leads to plants reaching a trigger point where stomata would close automatically and naturally, around mid day when the sun is most powerful and the losses would be most acute from continued evaporation.. Often this natural process can be delayed enough to cause significant damage, or loss of productivity to crops and plants.
Breathe helps overcome this. Also added to breathe are a series of leaf inhabiting microbes know to participate in the reverse krebs cycle. Typically these microbes use the gases our plants release at night. These microbes convert methane and other such emissions in to usable CO2 for our plants to use during the day. They technically store CO2 over night via conversion, and release this back to plants as part of an evolutionary cycle which has been going on in the wild forever. They secrete proteins related to the Citric acid cycle and maintain the efficiency, in part with the plant and proteins it generates, of the electron transport System and the reduction of ATP.
Further, these microbes wotk in collaboration with other organisms and elements in the BOX system to participate in the citric acid cycle and so power the plants energy, We have super oxide dismutase that work to both purge root systems via sequenced delivery of plant/ microbe related
Hydrogen peroxide, and further still we can convert this in to nothing more than water. In effect a healthy plant in a healthy soil system, should be both simultaneously cleaning the bad actors, while making its own drinking water, reducing the tension on global supplies the pressure on our time as growers.
This is fundamentally why plants in healthy soil need lots less watering, its not just depth of roots, but quality of the biomes and ready elements that enable to plants to withstand the ever changing weather for example.
BOX nutrients and adds will over time be required less and less if you use the system well, its not sustainable to continue to apply liquids to land that are processed miles away from source. BOX gives your land a kick start in the right direction. how long you will have to use the nutrients is dependent on many things, but if done right, and you have time and space to maintain your system with spent bio mass, you will be home free.
