Yes I'm keeping my tent open .
I got three fans going. But all my plants are clones and in 7 gallon pots.
Using NFTG NUTRIENTS ,terpinator ,superthrive and recharge for just watering every two feedings.
Just supercropp ed for high yield.
Using a 315 ceramic lec by sunlight nice lamp. Super 4x4 tent.
Ive got it all closed up now, top temps around 79 f Thanks to Cool Tube :-) Ive heard good stuff about the Ceramic lamps. Super thrive ? Whats your opinion on that J ? I was thinking of using but heard negative reports. Thanks for your input :-)

Carrying these girls back and forth to water is becoming a tough task, so decided to create a frame for them to rest on so I can catch water in bowls underneath :-) Will post pics when done. Dont want to be moving them when in floweer any way :-)

Ha Ha made the rack for watering in tent and works great :) collect run off :) Be nice to get Ph and ppm pens :-( never order from China again. Bricks used were thoroughly scrubbed, rinsed and Soaked in Bleach for an hour :) As you can see ive got 3 little clones going in red bucket (2nd pic down). Dont have the heart to throw away decent healthy branches that have been lollipopped. They will only be little but all adds up :) Ducting going to cool tube tore a couple of times due to poor quality, ebay grrrrr, got it under control now though :) As you can see the plant on front right has some leaf curl, this is due to wanting water, the others seem to like being left to dry a little between waterings but this girl dont like at all :) if you look at the second pic down she has straightened out again, happy after watering :)

At last my PH and PPM meters have arrived :) Have checked Ph of my plain water, i think with nutes that ive not been able to test yet im well out of the range for manganese and iron. So onwards and upwards we go :) maybe that will explain the redness on my leaf stalks ?

Just tested run off after watering with water PHd to 6.5 Run off was between 4 - 5.4 PPM Between 700 - 938. I think maybe a bit high PPM dont understand why PH IS so low ? Any advice welcome perhaps @Seamaiden or any one else please. Many thanks.

I'm on my first grow so not easy for me to say. some nutrients will affect ph of the water. Do you test and regulated this befor feeding? Also read a few places that soil tends to regulate it self.

Hi Missroom. Ive only just got my tester pens and run off on first test was a bit alarming. So I PHd water before watering to 6.5 and 2 days later they are looking healthier than ever. Going to try a slurry test as recomended by Sea Maiden, but cant complain, all is great. Even the purple leaf stems are going back to normal :) Sea maiden has also said that organic soil especially mollassis grows dont give accurate PPM readings. Thanks for your input Missroom.

They're green and alive! Only 1,5 weeks old. How old are your plants now?
3 of mine had been growing in a window they are currently at the end of week 4 under light. They had been in window of a friends house for a few weeks prior, but were only about 3 nodes high when i took them over. I think im going to let them go 2 more weeks if the bigger girls dont get too high to allow the smaller plants to gain some more height. :-) I will check out your grow :-) Glad to here its going well Missroom :-)

I think I may have got caught up in the Ph - PPM panic mode :-( from what im reading now organic soil buffers itself, in fact adjusting Ph of nutes before watering can do more harm than good. I think I may put down my tester pens until i do future coco grow :-) Any advice on this matter would be most welcome. Im with the school of thought (right now), if its looking good keep doing what your doing. Happy learning first grow :-)

My bubbler is bubbling I just need to clean the airstone.

I like to utilize aeration of nutes to raise ph to around neutral. This way I never have to ph. Just bubble long enough and your good to go.

Also the aeration allows the added microbes to eat the molasses and populate before hitting any soil. The plants love that!

I never have to ph adjust. And just look at my vegging ladies. Nice and healthy. Just leaves eaten by my cat lol.

Sounds good bro. How long do you bubble for on average ? Ive got as small pump somewhere, will buy an air stone and give it a go. Thanks for the info. Your grow is looking great :)

It depends on the amount of liquid along with the size of your air pump running through your size airstone. The more air running through a given volume of water. The faster the dissolved oxygen will bring the ph closer to neutral.

If I bubble 1 liter or less it can be ready in under 24hrs. Once I get to 1 gal it takes 24-48hrs. If I do 3 it takes 3 days or so (this means a bigger air pump and stone would be more ideal for the larger volumes).

I may upgrade later to a bigger air pump. The one I have now says 20. I forget if that means gph or cfm of air.

Also thanks :). Being my 2nd grow I think I've learned a bit. I really enjoy hanging out with these gals and watching them grow.
