First Indoor Grow.

Well I got all my kit sorted seeds and all, but what about the 3 little plants my friend has already been growing in his window ? They have all ready started to give off a smell. The seedlings were a little sad when we first met, drowning in a mixture of mud and Bio grow :-( Soon sorted that. Re-potted with 50/50 perlite and soil. After a few days plants looked loads better. This was 3 weeks ago. decided to save my Northern lights for now, for future coco grow. So I had 3 seeds myself from the same strain as my friends window plants so i've got those to germinate. 2 seeds popped and been transplanted to small pots, and then there were 5 :) I think they are cush from the smoke we had but cant be completely sure. Perhaps as the grow progresses, someone may have an idea what they are. So today got tent set up with 400 watt dual spectrum lamp on 18/6 schedule. Popped girls in and they loving it. Struggling a little with temps as outside temp is quite hot. I pinched the tops out about a week ago and side branches are beginning to sprout nicely. Soon earlier girls (hopefully) will be re-potted into larger pots and LST d . I am growing in soil this first time after advice from sea maiden, Thanks for advice :) Below are some pics of plants once i got them to pick up a little. The latter pics are after i topped them. Ill take more later of them in tent and setup :)

Got the light quite high as it is very hot at the moment and finding it difficult to maintain temps below 80 f.
Will keep updating :-)

Do you have an exhaust fan?
waiting for mine and currently using a 250w hps in what looks like a bit bigger rom than yours. Get's annoyingly hot... until then i gotta keep the door open and a continuous air flow going. only that way will the temperature keep below 28degree. Hope you figure something out :)

Yes the same as that Missroom. Got to keep everything open. I do have extraction as well :). If I close it temps get to 85 f very quick. but everything seems happy and my little babies are showing through nicely, so alls good :)

Temps today 78.1 f 55% humidity :-) Happy even though side flaps and doors need to be opened.

Nice looking grow you have going there :) Have you thought about possibly getting a cool tube for the light so you can exhaust its heat out? They are fairly inexpensive on amazon and ebay. By adding one I'm sure you would have no problem closing your tent up and maintaining good temperatures.
I'm no expert by any means as I am currently in my first grow. I just have been doing a ton of reading and listening to the more experienced growers on here :)

They are fairly inexpensive on amazon and ebay. By adding one I'm sure you would have no problem closing your tent up and maintaining good temperatures.

I like using a cooltube. It helps keep temps stable. While allowing me to drop my light to within "6-"8 from the plant tops. This gives me versatility by giving me more vertical height in an already small space.

Day 3 under lights and they are looking happy. Lots of nice side growth. Re-pot and LST incoming :-) Little seedlings doing fine, growing at a fast rate :-) Going to hold back on posts for a few days until some more noticable changes have taken place.

Well here we are day 9 under lights and every thing looking okay appart from little nutrient burn. Nutrient burn at tip of leaf. Bigger girls fimed and Lstd :)

Hi all :) A bit late but been busy. This was last saturday end of week 2 under lamp. They look very different now mid week 3 :-) will post more on saturday.

Well got this far :) these pics were end of week 3. Been watering every 3 - 4 days feeding each time. Started with 1 ml per litre of bio grow and 1 ml of calmag. Last feed increased to 2 ml per litre, 3 days later no sign of nute burn. All seems good plenty of growth and my monster cropping is starting to take shape, heads popping up every where :). Re-potted into final 18 ltr pots, square ones this time, they fit together much better :) will probably veg another 2 weeks (If they dont get too high. I am sooooo Loving this and learning so much. And very pleased I took @Seamaiden advice and went for soil first indoor grow, Thanks Sea. :-) Struggled terribly with temps for a while on a budget lol but NOW I HAVE A COOL TUBE :) keeping steady termp around 79 f, would like a little lower but im happy still, One day during struggle i checked highest and lowest temps on therm and it had reached 98, I can only put there survival down to C02 being pumped into grow room from surrounding woodland, maybe ? Any way heres some pics. Pic 1 is the 2 seedlings, seedlings no more ha ha. Any guesses at the strain of that beautiful Indica Back left hand corner, its leaves are thick like a rubber plant :) ??

Yes I'm keeping my tent open .
I got three fans going. But all my plants are clones and in 7 gallon pots.
Using NFTG NUTRIENTS ,terpinator ,superthrive and recharge for just watering every two feedings.
Just supercropp ed for high yield.
Using a 315 ceramic lec by sunlight nice lamp. Super 4x4 tent.
