I compost mine in a bin along w all my kitchen scraps then feed it to my worms in my worm farm then use the castings to make tea.

It's the foliage thad drops off in the last two weeks. It's not gonna hurt anything and this way I don't have to keep an extra bin for which I don't have place anyways. And I recycle everything but the roots, sometimes even those. After the plants are cut, the soil is mixed with the plants matter and left for atleast 2 months. In this case I also add kitchen scraps and generous amount of mycorrhizal brew to keep things going

Agree with you Manc. Only place to be a.t.m. The temp. in the Med. is just fantastic in July - Aug - Sept. I;m on da beach every day ,,, just a bit to the east of your beach ,,, lol A good few pre rolled and 2 L of water and Bob's ur uncle ,, lol
