you ought to go to a spring race at Atlanta. i prefer the ARCA series, they wreck a lot and have good spirit. i got to watch an IROC race there once. I used to go to the spring and fall race at Atlanta motor speedway each year when i was a boy. another race to go to at least once is a top fuel race. there is no words to describe the physical assault your body gets from the sound waves. a marvel of technology, those engines are. i went last year with my dad to the spring nationals at Atlanta dragway, first time we went it was my 11th birthday, it was nostalgic us going again after 15 years.

my grandfather raced nascar in the sportmans class in the early 60's. My dad has had the opportunity to meet Richard Petty, Bobby Allison, Fireball Roberts and a few others. he ran a '54 ford. He used to say you could not find a clean right front fender in georgia for a 1954 Ford to save your life.
