I'm glad you said that. I've never grown a Wookie, I was thinking the rangy one was it, lol!
I realize I'm a little late to comment, but I've grown Wookie (#6 or #9, whichever one Green Dot does not use) direct from Big Buddy in cut form.

It is rangy. Long, tall buds. But the smell...and the stick. It's by far the best smelling strain I've ever grown. It's not super funky, or strange...but it's potent. Tokers will follow it around like Peppy Lepeux followed around that cat with paint on it's tail. Friends would stop by (who didn't know about my seizure problem) and they would get out of their car...in my driveway, and say, "Whoah dude, that's potent!"

And I don't know how to say this without sounding too familiar with my plants, but the smell is downright sexy/addicting. It's my favorite smelling plant before chop down. Even cured, it's got an awesome smell.

And if grown right, it's sticky, sticky, sticky. You need several pairs of sheers and cups of alcohol if you hope to trim it with any sort of speed. It trashes sheers.

Unfortunately for me...it's just not my strain. But that looks like an awesome cross. Good job with the grow too.

I just ordered some Love Triangle beans, we'll see how those go.

I don't have a cell at the moment to take pics but I have 5 or 6 each of Dank Sinatra, Dream Beaver and Snow Lotus x Gogi... All look very nice. Dank Sinatra plants are really small and short. Snow Lotus x gogi are beautiful and half are purple already at about a month. Popped the rest of my Bodhi beans... all three packs have had 100 % germination! awesome!

My press has plates that are 3.5 x 6.5. Tonnage came with a 12, but I upgraded to a 20. No real difference IMO, so I would say the 12 is fine for plates my size. The price tag is a no go for you however. I paid around 3 grand. I can stuff around 40 grams of flower per press no problem, and 100 grams of kief.

Good luck. Hope you find something in that price range.

Iv never met big buddy in real life of course being from different continents but I class him as a good online friend.a great big fella.the Wookiee is actually named after big buddy I beleive.im assuming he,s a big hairy bugger who says "Aaaaaaarr" (or whatever chewbacca says) a lot
I was just speaking to him two days ago in pm on another site.

On another note my strange brew are looking real nice.very sweet-obviously.theres only two gals ATM and theyr both different phenoes.ones way more sweet smelling with kinda rounded tops that are starting to fox tail wen theyr closer to the light so trying to avoid that as it's a real pain to trim.plus it's pistils died back sooner so probably a faster pheno and it looks like it's got more resin.on the bud leaves atleast.and the nugs seem denser too.here it is.sweet pheno@8weeks bloom

this other pheno seems more sativa in nature.long spear shaped nugs that have real thin fingers and looser nugs with less resin on the bud leaves.the smell is less intense than the first sweet smelling one and nowhere near as sweet.more skunkyness to it.i preferred the structure of this pheno.the branches had good strenghth and grew well even wen shoots were really close to each other
Slinky pheno

so far I would say I prefer the smell of the sweet pheno.
I was looking for a quality cash cropper that could yeild more than the cut of alien dawg I have but there's no chance.the a dawgs are twice as far and dense.the a dawgs f4 or 5 so there's no surprise there.the a dawg was from aligee via a buddy not a bodhi strain

Here's some SSDD f2's. They're small, in 1 gallon pots. I'm trying a light mover for the first time, so these are the guinea pigs, lol! View attachment 672890

Have you had SSDD yet? It's one of my favorite smokes. Awesome creativity.

Yes, bc he is 6'8" iirc.

I regard him the same. He's one of the nicest people you could ever meet. Where does he hang out these days?

Bulldog,
curious about the specs. on that press (tonage, plates, PID etc). I'm in the market for solid setup for home use. My budget is 500 or less; any suggestions?

Thanks
You can easily build out a 20 ton for 500 bucks, Harbor Freight press, and they sell the attachments all over the internet, just look around. Tons of great threads on here on DIY Rosin presses.
Personally 3 grand for 20 ton vs making one generically $400-$600,
Could be using that money for better things IMHO

Thanks dog, I don't need to process that amount of material, I'm sure a smaller unit would do the trick. Thanks for the info!
