you'll see the nice buds later;)

figured that I should post my report on this forum;)
looks like a nice community here.

a few words about me before I get to the grow:
I did some very nice runs in my past grower live so far... mostly indoors, also a few outdoors..
did cocos/hydro/soil ,now after a few years not growing at all it'll be soil again:)

VEG will be under a 400 MH, first 2 weeks were 36 watts fluorescent lights
they are now on day 19.

Germinated 14 Seeds, 10 NL and 4 AK48's, all regular ones.
I first put them under the 400 at day 9.. which was too early/hot, some heat stress occurred, then I transplanted on day 12 ( which was a bit too early too) , and the soil was too dry should have soaked the soil before transplanting.., so they sadly were shocked pretty badly already... but now after a week they got pretty much over it.. some were only 9 days when I transplanted, the youngest showed some dwarfy leaves due to really high N in the soil mix, the indicas were shocked the most... a few slight nute burns too, but most are growing out of it now... never had nute burns from fresh soil before.. but also never used this pretty dry, pressed soil I got ... well it was stupidity, I knew I should have pre-moistured this soil, but thought the structure was ok when transplanted... watered them pretty good but it took a while for the soil to be on an even moisture level kinda;)
now some pictures, put them from very small plastic cups into 3.5l pots about a week ago.

going to prune them in a week or so, to cut some top-clones from them to determine their sex with those cuttings... after getting rid of the males I hope to get 5+ NL mothers to make clones from and I hope for 2 or more AK mothers, since I am not doing a "pre-run" to see what mothers are the keeper-ones, I'll take my cuttings from all mothers as long as they show decent, healthy growth, also I don't plan to keep the mother plants, they will go into a Scrog after I got my cuts from them in 11/14l pots under a 600 bulb, and some clones will go under a 600 and a 400

after transplant I gave them 3 days under fluoros, and then put the 400 MH over them, they are starting to get used to the lights and soil...
the last 4 pictures are day 19, and the red crosses are the AK's, the biggest so far is an AK she takes it all and just grows;) sativa-like nute-burner. hope she's a female..

@Tritone, plants are looking good and healthy, though not too sure about the short length of time growing under your fluorescent light.
Welcome to the farm, enjoy the community.

thanks for the kind words:) yes, I am a bit impatient I guess... those fluorescent bulbs were 2x18 watt bulbs they are great for those small cup-pots in 2 rows, but as soon as they got the big pots, the 2x18w barely produced enough light to get it evenly to all plants.. so I decided to hang the 400 really high above them to get decent temps... shot 3 more pics, some shots from above:)
also found 3 pics from the last grow.. 7 Chronic fems (from seed) in 14l and ScroG ;) can't wait to see how the NL/AK's perform in comparison to the Chronics, which performed pretty well, those were pretty decent genetics though...could run into some problems with 2 different strains this time, but I've read that the Ak's stretch like an Indica and pretty much at the same ratio as the NL's
