3rd cycle should have paid for the first 2 cycles.maybe you should just get some 400w hps setup and be done with it.
Said I'm on my 3rd cycle , can't make $ off of 3rd cycle to its done. Unless you got that answer to

Just on the Chinese crap. Yes some are but if you look at specs a lot of them are actually the same. And the high dollar named lights most of the time are actually the same exact Chinese crap just a fancier sticker. They buy them from the Chinese manufacturer in bulk so they get em even cheaper than what you see on amazon. Then they charge twice as much. Show me 1 that says made in USA or anywhere other than China or Japan area.

That's a great light also but the guy wants to spend $300 what do you recommend?

Im not gonna recommend something that I haven't used. I was just giving an example of the price range of main stream lighting. I've used the galaxy type LEDS and really, they are no good for flower, unless like I said you have the space and cash to cram lots of them into your grow.

That is true light is the most important factor in the size of your yield. But I wouldn't go as far as to say they're not good for flower they have everything you need for flower.

I put 600 led back in. Hit switches today. It's flower time. This whole setup was around $350. My new sun. I know looks like a UFO and covers entire ceiling. Hope it works good.
600 led is 3watt leds. Sides are t5 setups with blue (veg) and red(bloom) bulbs staggered.
I am liking that a lot.

I've owned 3 different led grow lights and purchased another for a friend. The first 3 I bought were active cooled (with fans), the last one I got is a passive cooling Cree from timber like six string suggested. I will never buy another active cooling led, they are like having blow dryers in your grow room blowing hot air everywhere. Passive cooling lights with pin heat sinks barely get warm to the touch, you can hold your hand on the heat sinks they're so cool, my tent stays much cooler since I retired the hot air blowers.

Iv used this light for about a year veg and flower cycle I try and stick with LED due to heat control
i give it 4 more months before leds start burning out.not tryin to be a dick, been there done that and seen it happen too many times.300.00 budget just use hps, they are cheap and grow awesome.and watt for watt they aint no hotter than cheap epistar led panels.
mars led panel,1600 so like 750w at the wall, hot as fuck and lost around 25% or the chips by 14 months.not what i was hoping when i dropped big coin on the biggest panel they made.complete garbage imo.
Mk led 033
Mk led 039
Mk led 47 days 006
Mk mars led 047

next time i see a post about galaxy hydro/mars/any china panel my new response is going to be "yeah great choice "
its just easier lmao

I agree with u if I had my choice I would use Hps or sonthing other then LED however due to the grow situation I like LED still produce top shelf product there may be more then one way to cross the river but in the end the destination is the same.

I'm looking for some advise on an LED for flower ?Will be in a 3by3by6ft tent and looking to flower 3-4 plants. Already have HPS for another tent . Trying to avoid another ballist. Any suggestions on an LED that's not to expensive that will do the trick?
Six Strings is definitely right if you are a serious grower you should go with those Cobs I mean look at the guys flower geez. The only reason I use what I use is because I'm on a shoestring budget and small-scale. I do pretty well with my junk though.

If you want results it takes investment. I love my lights. I like how there are no bullshit fans heating it up. I like that I can touch the diode and not get burned. Let me see someone touch a bulb that's been on.
