I quit smoking recently and almost always washed my hands before going into the grow, but I will stay quit to remain gardening. Never allowed smoking in my garden, even MJ. This recommendation shocked me:

SMOKERS
Cigarette smokers have tobacco mosaic virus on their hands. Dip hands in solution before handling plants or anything connected with the plants. It is a good idea to have a container of PHYSAN 20 solution always available as a hand dip. Allow to air dry.
Use: 1 Tablespoon PHYSAN 20 per gallon of water

CUTTING TOOLS
Soak cutting edge of tool for 10 minutes in PHYSAN 20 solution before use to kill such diseases as Botrytis, Root Rot, Stem Rot, and Tobacco Mosaic Virus (TMV) Use wet tool on plants. At the end of work, dry and oil tools.
Use: 1 teaspoon PHYSAN 20 per quart of water.

POTS AND FLATS
Used pots or flats should be brushed or washed first, then soaked in PHYSAN 20 solution for 10 minutes before using to kill such diseases as Crown Rot, Mildew, Root Rot and Rusts. Do not rinse.
Use: 1 tablespoon PHYSAN 20 per gallon of water.

ADULT PLANTS*
Spray anytime disease other than rot (see below) is evident. Spray once per month as preventative maintenance. Soak compost when fungus is evident.
Use: 2 teaspoons PHYSAN 20 per gallon of water.

Have any of u guys read and scholarly articals about the transmission between smokers and transmitting the virus to cannabis plants. My buddy that works with me smokes american spirits only outside and hes pretty good about wearing gloves in the grow.

Only use 1 ml per 10 gallons, this stuff can kill your plants. And is not something you want to use long term with cannabis. But it works very well at knocking out diseases.
Do not go by your Above info from the label I promise it is way to much. This stuff is extremely strong.

You will see roots like these when the disease is killed. Then you can switch it up to tea, actinovate, regalia to keep them strong.
I would also suggest taking clones off your clones instead of keeping mothers.

highly recommend Companion from Growth Tech for this once its cured as stated above as well. The GB03 Subtilis is great at fighting this.

Using the regalia as a soil drench and using beneficials have kept me growing. Unfortunatly physan 20 isnt on the approved wa state list so im not allowed to use it.... bummer. Gotta stay legal. Now i just gotta convince my buddy to stop smoking cigs. I have only been cloning off clones and still can get clones to root in 7 days but once i transplant and put under more intense light i start getting the deficiencies I wish there were proven cases of transmission between smokers and tmv on cannabis. Maybe one day. Thanks for all ur guys input. I will check out that companion.

Im really surprised that they suggest to dip hands in the physan 20 i looked up the msds and they talk like the shit is some nasty stuff. I will use h202 and try out the companion since i cant use the physan 20.

Companion is WDA approved me thinks. Last I checked. I try to follow WDA guidelines even being in Michigan, but honestly feel physan-20 can be safe handled properly. I've had my hands in some solid concentrations like that and they come out clean I'll tell ya. I've been drenching my pots and submersing them if possible with 20ml/Gal. Im not dropping dead.

Just sprayed the plants in 1/2 the dose phsyan recommends and like 10x the dose growgold is saying. Sprayed. I have white roots shooting out my cups and these are clones so its easy to treat them right now. The flowing plants are at the mercy of companion and urb biological foliar sprays, as well as greencure.

Cheapest companion is actually simplesuccess line for home users, but the labeled one for pesticide use is easily double the cost.
