Go by colour if they look healthy let em be with water, but I would now be giving a rhizotonic solution now. I grow in close proximity to people.

What is that and how/why?

So. I found 2 of the seeds. Couldnt find the one i "lost" so I went ahead and started germinating another one. Ill put it under light once its cracked and all that.

After i dug them up and replanted just on top of the soil, i added some PHd water (no nutes) to them before I went to bed because they looked dry. Is it bad if i pour the water and some of it gets right on top of the seed, pretty much dousing it? Is it going to hurt anything?

Is there an easy way to get my water PHd? I put some in, i test with droplets....too low. Put a little in, test with droplets....too high........or is that just how it goes until you "get it right"?

Also, when my lights are on its about 84 degrees in there, about 10 degrees cooler when off, and my humidity is sitting at ~40% no matter if the lights are on or off....this ok?

Here are the pics, the first 2 is that big seed from earlier. They just finished their first 18/6 cycle.

Comments welcome.

Looks good! They are white and plump and healthy looking.
Don't let them dry out. Pour a little water on them every day to keep them moist. Douse away!
Don't worry about the temps just yet. Seedlings like it warm. Once they are vegging nicely, you can drop it a bit if you want.
I use a cheap water PH meter. You can get them for just a few bucks on ebay. We have really alkaline water here so I adjust with a few drops of vinegar (exactly 1 teaspoon per 5-gal). Yep, you just gonna have to figure out how much to use. When you do, don't just go by that forever after - test your water EVERY time. Sometimes water changes due to treatment facility problems or natural changes.
I got sick and tired of testing and adjusting every drop so I switched to rain water. PERFECT!!

cool, thanks for the tips.

Ive been putting 100-150ml once a day when i water them. Basically once i see the top not wet ill go ahead and water them.

So should i stay the same? increase? decrease??

Scuff a little soil over them (will help keep them moist) and keep them wet. Roots won't dig into dry soil. Doubtful you can overwater at this point. Those big pots will absorb a lot of liquid - pulling moisture away from the center where the seed is. I'd put a clear cup over them - a tiny terrarium to keep them protected and raise humidity for a while.

I start mine in small pots. Much easier to handle, water, etc.
Royal Purple Kush from seed - male on left, female on right. I had just topped them both in this pic. Female will get up-potted soon. Male will stay as-is till I get some pollen off him. He's covered in balls right now - getting ready to blow his wad.

A bunch of babies. They need to get a lot bigger before they ready for 1-gal pots.

one has sprouted and it wasnt the big one in all those pics, it was the other one. Kinda worries me that something is wrong with the big one. I figured that would be the first to sprout...

Ill upload some pics later.

I feel like im going to have to throw all this out and start all fuckin over again. I have to be worst fuckin grower in the world.

here are some pics...I dug up the "big one" and it looks a little yellow.......IDK. I know that it should have already sprouted rather than the other one? My other seed seems like it isnt germinating. IDK IDK. IM pist and want to start over. it seems like thats whats going to happen anyway.

How do you use these rockwool cubes?

First - go smoke a bowl and chill!
It still looks fine! It's turning yellow because those are the "leaves" and they are starting to turn green. Cover the root but leave the top uncovered and leave it alone for about 3 days. The soil in those pots still look very dry except the very small area with seedling. Get the whole pot soaked till dripping and walk away. Once they take off, they can grow inches of roots a day so you want all the soil moist.

It can take up to a week for a seed to "birth" a new plant. It has to grow that root before top growth can start. Please be patient. You don't have kids, do you?
:playful:
I don't use cubes - just drop seeds in soil. Check pack for directions.

Na i dont have kids lmao. Here are some pics of a fresh PHd watering. I gave them ~16oz of water each.

I hear if i drench the whole pot it will cut the oxygen out and then i would be fucked, which is why im just watering a little bit around the seedling until it gets a little bigger.

I covered the root of that one the best i could. the corkscrew makes it hard to do without damaging it. So i put a whole bunch of soil over the root and left the 2 leaves out the best i could.

if i were to use those cubes, cant i just drop them right into my soil when it has grown a bit and ready for an actual pot, instead of putting right in there?

Crap, I forgot you're using coir, right? Sorry, I use organic soil. Better to check with someone else who's good with coir on the drenching part. I just meant you want to keep a good diameter of wet soil around the seedling.

They be fine! Little one is taking off already - standing tall. Other one will push it's way up into the light. You really want your seeds to do this (fight/push through a bit of soil). If they aren't strong enough to sprout on their own, they'll likely be runts or freaks. But who knows?! Some mighty fine smoke comes from freaks.

Strong seedlings usually mean stronger/tougher plants later. If they made it through all this, they are already tough little fuckers! Congratulations, you've already thinned out the heard. Trust me, you don't want to mess with freaks and mutants yet.

So, sit back and let them do their job for a while. They don't need any help from us as long as you give the bare necessities - decent water, substrate to grow in. You don't even have to mess with lights until they are up. And don't even mess with nutes until they have a few leaves. Don't matter what you are growing in - I've seen plants growing in glasses of water. Cannabis is one tough plant.

Make sure u put drainage in bottom of pots I use hydro balls but disinfected gravel will do. With coco in small pots make sure give all the medium a quick soak you can gently squeeze pots to get get rid of excess. Make sure coco doesn’t dry out just stays moist. If you pick up a pinch and squeeze and water seeps out it a bit wet but it drains easy. Hope coco grower come to help

So that one plant is starting to look normal. Finally did something after i stopped watching it every 45min lmao.

Question...i really want to get 3 plants in there. The other 2 seeds seem to be shit at germinating. Is it possible to slow down these plants so i can order more seeds, germinate and plant, so i can have 3 plants going?

Was it the nl you germed? How long to get seeds? Could run something with a splash more sativa in it less veg time

Aah yes is possibility they sometimes call em pretendicas indica stretch pheno. I am growing granddaddy blue that mama bear give me alongside some jabbas stash which is like a bubba. I topped the gdb and hope that keeps canopy more even. Or you could get more nl top the first ones germed and not top newcomers?

Yeah, that would work. Other ways too (cold temps slow down growth) but why?

If it's only a couple weeks, new plants just won't be as big when you flip is all. Or just add a couple weeks to your veg time. The older ones won't mind.
If you already know they are females, I would just root those tops. You already got the cubes. Are those seeds Regs or Fems?

I didnt know if a couple of weeks would matter or not. I was just worried about that extra 2wks takin away some of my height because they can only be so tall when finished, considering the space im growing in. I will prolly go ahead and order more NL since 2 wks isnt that big of a deal. IDK why the others arent germinating....im doing nothing different...just soaking in water for 24-48 hrs.

i buy nothing but FEM. Here are some pics, they are starting to look like how they should
