Some seeds pop fast, some don't. Could be lots of reasons. Too old, different strains, immature seeds, etc.
Welcome to the world of seeds - never know what you gonna get! That's why so many love clones.
Personally, I love the surprises I find in seeds.
Here's a freaky little one I've got right now. When the cotyledons opened, there were no leaves in there. After another week, it's finally got something going on - just not sure yet what it is!

Alright its been a couple of days. The seeds finally germinated a couple of days ago. I have one chillin a paper towel in case the other one doesnt take....but i buried it like the others, PHd watered it, and we will see. The others are lookin pretty good. Im still watering about 8oz a piece right now.

There is a little yellow on the end of the cotyledons so im not sure what that is, but it seems to be getting better and better with each water. Only watering about once a day right now....still stickin with if it aint try a knuckle deep then im good.

Anyway here are the pics.....Questions, comments, bitching is welcome..

to me seems the colytdeons should yellow up as its gets it food from there too..

but the tips are like burnt. so maybe just to hot of soil for seedling? ill toss in ph for the hell of it.

bowls up.

Maybe quarter strength feed

For both? I may wait until the smaller ones leaf tips arent yellow. And what does that feed consist of? Boost, Grow, calmag? What PPM am i aiming for? ANd if im low or high on the PPM before watering, which nutrient do i add more of to make the PPM correct? or is it just a matter of once i measured out the nutes and my PPM is wrong...i just use the PH up and down?

Ya they do...ive already PHd the water that i used this morning. It seems to be getting better with the passing hours though. THere is only a section of the cotyledons that is yellow now as opposed to when i took those pics earlier.

OK i found this feeding chart so let me run this by you guys.

Can i do this? Make a 5 gallon bucket batch using the boost, grow, and calmag. So if im using half strength or 1/4 strength i can use a 1/4 or half of that mixture along with regular PHd water......then PH the whole batch and use?

Isnt half strength what i want to feed at the max in both flower and veg? Also, it says PPM = 1000.....so when i make it and my PPM is off what do i add to it so that my PPM is close?? How do you measure EC? And should i follow the Feed, water, water schedule it recommends or feed at every watering?

And one last thing, 20% runoff....is "runoff" going to happen in smart pots? and how much are you guys actually watering during veg and flower? Does a 3gal pot = 3 gal of water in order to water it? Just so i can get a feel of how much to actually water. TIA...

Ill update some pics tomorrow.

So the plants are comin along. I started feeding yesterday on the 2 big ones...half strength. I found another way to do it that im going to try once my nutes get here....Im watering everyday until runoff. I will be giving PHd water every other feeding. The big ones were starting to yellow, but now they are getting some nutes im sure it will go away.

The small one is not even a week old yet. From what ive read, once they have their serrated leaves its "officially" in veg mode, so ive also been watering just PHd water on the small guy until run off. I also read you want to keep coco moist at all times. I will prolly start in solo cups the first 2 weeks next time before transplanting to final pot.

I think im doin alright for my first grow (thanks for all you guys help) which is surprising considering how i started lol. Anyway, here are some pics. Light is normal distance away....about 10in or so.

Congratulations! You a daddy!!
They look real hungry but healthy. Up your nutes a tiny bit each time till they tell you to stop (light nute burn and super green leaves). When you get to that point, back off a little. Have to figure out a base-line first. Each plant can have different needs but if these all from the same pack, it's likely they'll want the same. Problem is they in such big pots right now. Your solo cups will make it much easier next time.

should i go ahead and just feed every feeding until i see that...keeping at half strength until it stabilizes?

Sorry it’s not alerting me with email. Yeah go with what mama bear said. Shame a coco grower hasn’t popped in yet. Did you have a look in the coco sub forum? I also use organic soil, they do look hungry but is easier to fix problems than to fix over feeding.
