My first run in each room only received plain water for the most part and a few teas from the leftover karanja and kelp bags. I bought a $15 bag of alfalfa pellets too. So far I've used 1 gallon of Protekt and 2 gallons of fish hydrolyslate. I think I spent around 400-500 on compost to topdress with as well. I will soon be composting and building a large OSCR vertical flow through worm bin to reduce costs. The fish shouldn't be necessary either once the soil tilth increases with time. I'm really only running 600sq ft of canopy. I have 2-3 trimmers and one helper w me growing. Oh I used around 1/4 gallon of fulvic acid too. Around $100 in aloe so far. Think that's it.

I found a local source for worm castings. They are asking 7$ per pound. Does that sound fair?

Good castings around my area (cali) go for 25 bucks for a 5 gallon bucket,not sure how many lbs that is.I buy worms from the guy for 20 bucks a lb.Check craigslist in your area,fresh castings are best.

Yeah, that’s what I thought too...
I’m going to call her back and see if maybe she mis quoted me. Maybe she just wants her piece of the big money we all seem to have in this industry. Not.

People will rip you off just became they think they can. I just saw someone selling "catgrass seed" in the grocery store for $5. It was about 2 cents worth of oats. Instructions said plant in soil and water! :D

I actually just had a photographer over but the files he sent me so far can't be uploaded here. I'm working on it.

I don't expect this thread to last since they booted me over here to the diary section. Trolls are allowed to run rampant in any no till threads too. This site likely takes in mucho $$$ from bottled fertilizer companies so neither benefits from the popularization of no till methods.

I'll keep watching. Appreciate anything that you put out. I have noticed that organic threads and their creators are often attacked. Not sure why they take such offense. If they were secure in their methods I don't think they would feel so threatened.

I'm just curious as to who's method is the most cost effective? I hear a lot of growers talk about 1 gram or so per watt, but I never hear them talk about how much $/gram they spent to grow their yields.
I know in the legal game that's what it's all going to come down too within the next few years as the supply keeps going up driving prices down year round. Not to mention the organically grown product demand.
They will all be learning how to make their own soils to keep profit margins up, or paying for celebrity endorsements to attempt to create name brand hype in years to come.

That's the truth. My wife will only buy eggs from free roaming chickens fed natural organic feed. There's a huge difference in flavor. She'll pay 50% more for those eggs but they're 100% better
