Day 35 of flower. 5 out of 8 weeks. These have 2 to 3 weeks to go. Hairs are turning colour now, the aroma is changing and they have the look. The hairs will all turn in this week and they will start to fatten up.

Thursday pic. Topped up with plain water.
TDS 650 PH 5.7 Leaf Temp 72. Light is about 12 inches from tops.
Buds are dense and fattening up nicely. The aroma is changing..so close now

2 more weeks and these will probably be hanging....Which is good i had to get a zip to get me through !

I think this tent will produce 225 grams of trimmed jarred buds....we shall see.

I will check trichs on Friday...This one will finish in 7 to 8 weeks from 12-12 flip.

The cobs make buds as frosty as the 315 as far as I can tell. I think under the 315 light they appear frostier than under the LED but the pictures come out frosty just the same.

Friday pics. TDS 500 PH 5.7 topped up with plain RO water. The bud shot was a bud of this critical mass i chopped on Sunday and it was dry enough for a splendid doob. I think 1 more week and i will chop. I will see. They are looking and smelling ready. The trichs are milky and the top bits have amber but that is deceiving sometimes.
It is stellar smoke too. WAY better than what i had to get to tide me over to now. And i am stocked up for another long while :D

The critical mass is dank and delicious. It has the right flavor and aroma and smokes good with a light grey ash. It will get smoother with a cure. The one bud top i took had dry bud weight of 12 grams so that is promising :D There are 40 to 50 buds in there :D lol

12-12 started Feb 1 in tent 2. We are at 21 days today (3 weeks) of 9 to 11 weeks
These buds only smell if you roll them in your fingers because they are babies. They have very different aromas. Tut is fruity sour (i found it tasted like froot loops before) and GG4 is just completely foreign compared to the critical mass and tut.

12-12 started Jan 2 in tent 1 (51 days or just over 7 weeks with 1 to go)
This tent smells strong of skunky sour critical mass. I can smell it main level when i open the little tent.

In the new room i will start a plant every 1st of the month so i can keep track of everything. I will use a written log because this is about to get confusing.

Heisenbeans Purple Punch and Mac X GG4 will be the first round. I got more seeds. :D

When i ground it in the grinder it was noticeable in the kief tray. I like when that happens.

This strain produces big fat frosty colas. The timber 2VL light is fantastic for this tent. The exact right amount of light to max it out. And I would go 3500K just like i have it. It is PERFECT!

I think I will chop tomorrow. The trichs are a changing. I changed to 11/13 a week ago.
Any worry I had about cobs not producing trichs like a CMH were unfounded.

Cobs make really frosty buds.

day 48 today. I look forward to when i can harvest select tops and leave the others to finish. That is coming soon. I have harvested 2 tops (22 grams dry) and have 2 drying now. I dont want to push it too far or it wont be the stone i like.

Hope the extra days are worth it! Isn't supposed to be a 7-8 weeks? I am wondering if the led/cob/cmh, lights in general can extend the flowering period. I mean, like hps using 2700kelvin with a CRI of around 27-30 vs LED/COB/CMH with a CRI of >90 and 3300-3500K.
