Hello folks!

I’m looking for some advice form the more experienced hydroponic growers out there.

I have one globe of Gorilla Blie from Advanced Seeds in the 3rd week of flower.

I cannot tell if I’m looking too closely at new bud growth and seeing something that is not there (perhaps yellow leaves tight and compact as can happen with the odd eee mutant or deficiency...

Or my fear that I’ve got a wee hermie I need to chop!

Now I’ve experienced hermie a in a couple of grows, some I’ve grown out and picked the nanners as I’ve cone across them and they’ve still been decent with minimal seeds, and I’ve had others I’ve just chopped the buds affected and the rest of the plant is fine.

Something definitely seems unusual but my experience is limited to a year of perpetual on coco and a few flood drain rooms a la racker style (which I’m currnetly running).

Looking forward to hear you’re opinions and hopefully I can have my mind put to rest opposed to my fears confirmed !

Picas!

Looks like more nanners than pistils. And the plant looks way overfed and seriously stressed. Sorry.

Really does doesn’t it, so strange, this plant is the only one showing these symptoms in the whole canopy - will check on tomorrow and give her the chop! 🥵

EC is 1.8 currently and has been the last two weeks - 25cm from CDM - the rest are praying to the light though!

Appreciate the advice - shall flush and drop EC slightly

@MIMedGrower mate, what do you think of this - on closer inspection those are actually looking like stunted yellow leaves and not nannas... possibly v stressed and threw them out?

I’ll try get some more photos tonight...

Looks to possibly be beginning stages of fascia. If it grows somewhat flat and 2 dimensional yet bulbous rather than a round bud and has more tiny leaf blades than true pistils it's fascia.

I've only had it on two plants and it usually on affects a top cola bud. It looks interesting but usually leads to a mold filled bud, lots of veg matter in the bud, and very few calyx with no resin.
You can cut the cola off and still get the rest of the plant to grow normal. Just be certain it's fascia first which will make it known in the next week or two.
Here's a pic of a rather severe fascia mutation in a cannabis plant

It looks haat stressed in my humble opinion.

Salary from the weird growth that’s what I think too, , sitting at 29 with 1200ppm CO2. Dropped to 28 last night in case my Dimlux sensor / Opticlimate was off a bit!

Cheers Edi - greetings from Glasgow (I don’t think many people would guess my avatar was associated with weegies!)

Oddly beautiful looking in a freaky sort of way! Thanks - will wait until I see how it develops - no male parts spotted so far anywhere on plant - so I’m hoping this is what it is.

Doing a rez refresh as when stuff like this happens I just like to cover all bases - currently scrubbing the b*st*rd out !

Chaps - no hermie, just thin leaf clusters. @Animal Chin hit the nail on the head I think. ALTHOUGH - for week 3 of flower, check out these trichromes... wtf, amber?!

I think it’s safe to say it’s going to ok, cut the afflicted stem and dial back the light. Check to see if any stray light is entering the grow area, zippers if it’s a tent and or a vent that’s close by. But I think you are safe! May get a foxtail effect worst case scenario. And yes sugar leaves do tend to ripen early, like Med said check calyx for ripeness

Trichomes on bud leaves turn early often. Check on the calyx for ripeness.
Cheers mate I’ll do that now, here’s another plant in the room, pistils facing the CDM 630w (which is about 40cm/16inches away) the pistils facing the light have also turned orange...

Wondering if it’s just a combination of the Phillips bulbs and CO2 (1100-1200ppm)

Cheers mate, I appreciate the help from you both!

I shall raise lights a tad. It’s a purpose built sealed room - no light leaks last time I sat in it for 30mins! But I’ll keep an eye out
