New leaf tips burned/shriveled. Just set the rockwool cubes in DWC, gen hydro nutes stage 1 @ 1/4 dose. Mixed LEDs. 5.9 Ph. Roots not in water yet. Thank you in advance for any help

All good, your knowledge is amazing and totally respect it. 
the roots have finally reached the res and today the newest growth is looking much better. I usually use tiny rock wool cubes and this time I’m in 4x4 in cubes. I think I just shocked them and perhaps the ph was really high.
