neighbor penny experienced this, with neighbor bill, as u prolly know. the first few venues, were seemingly, understaffed. she felt as you say. she stopped leaving, for anything, significant... when she did, they'd call her back; no lie.
penny was anything, BUT a squeaky wheel; allowing herself to b bullied n walked on.
eventually, she got him to a place, where she felt she could at least return to her place, for maybe one night in 5-7.
now, he's home, as you know.
