Honestly all the white tops look like bleaching from light intensity! But im not 100%

It wouldnt explain the smell that you are describing.

But i wouldnt doubt it has something to do with heat stress seeing how the leaves are all mangled up!

How long ago did you see signs of this? And did it seems to happen over night? Or did it happen over time?

Do you know what the temp of the water was when all this was going on?

It will most likely bounce back! Your gonna be really hurt on weight though! Your plants going through massive amounts of stress at the worst possible time!
This hurts the soul
It happened over like a 2 day period Yesterday It was looking sad (the first 2). I thought ok it might bounce back after a feeding. It looks like absolute shit now.
Im gonna flush it for like a day and see if theres any improvement.
As I was putting int he water I saw a stem bend over. Very sad.

Heat stress usually causes the leaves to fold like a taco or a canoe, in my experience. To me, this looks like a serious nutrient overdose. If it was burned by heat, there would be obvious heat damage and crispness, not the tangled look that is isually reserved for overdoses. Any chance some products got mixed up or mixed up incorrectly?
Its possible its a nutrient over does however the symptoms were coming on just a day or 2 before I fed them.
However they look downright awful today.

What makes me think its light stress is because only your top canopy buds (circled red) closest to the light is whitened, where as the bottom foliage bud sites (circled blue) look relatively fine!

Odd... Usually heat stress affects the whole plant

And overdoses usually come with a sign of burnage, maybe a toxicity but it would have to be a MAJOR toxicity for them to get that bad in 2 days

I hope you find the culprit asap! Hate to see all that hard work and care go awry. From what I have seen, they are a very resilient plant so I hope the best for you. I will be watching closely so I can maybe learn too.

The whole plant is pretty droopy but some of the lower leaves looked just fine. so maybe it is?
Some of things I did was put fresh ph balanced water in tonight and cranked the light all the way up. so its about ~28 inches away from the plant.
I appreciate the help good sir

Like i said idk if thats it 100% thats just what i looked like to me given the pictures you posted. If im right then moving the lights will correct it, but you most likely have to trim a good amount of those fan leaves away once it bounces back.

If im wrong unfortunately it may possibly get worse! I hope not though.

Wish you the best of luck though man!

Have you checked it's bucket to make sure it isn't clogged. Or clogged airstone etc. Are the roots getting enough oxygen? As temps increase dissolved oxygen decreases in water.

Could be a combination of heat/light stress and too much nutrients. Heat stress would certainly exacerbate the transpirational demand and if the osmotic stress from an overly salty solution is too limiting on the uptake of water, the plant wont be able to keep up causing wilt.

I know you said you checked your roots but did you check all the way from root tip to stalk? I have been doing hydro for a long time and from what I can see and what you have said I can almost put money on root rot/stem rot probably at the very base of the stalk. Did you use rockwool or something similar to propagate the plant and then put it into the DWC? Rockwool is notorious for causing problems in this area especially later on, because it does not dry out well enough and makes a great home to fungi and bacteria.

I would start running a sterile reservoir immediately. Either h2o2 or bleach I prefer bleach. Works the best for clearing rot in my experience, and cheaper than industrial grade h2o2. It may not save that plant, usually once they start drooping like that it's not going to pull back out of it. But going sterile for the rest of your cycle will save the other plants from the same fate. You could just run it sterile for a week or two, and once the rot clears, run hydroguard or some other good beneficial bacteria.

Plant never recovered. For a day it looked better but it ended up just dying. Very sad.
Luckily the plant next to her survived and the harvest was decent.
Sorry for late bump
