Yeah that’s only 96w
I had 4 off them and it still wasn’t enough for what I had going
Ended with really poor quality bud
The 1200 is around 350 actual watts

I learned this the hard way so people like use don’t follow

Amazon leds are trash
Send them back get t5s for veg
(Personally 1000w or 600w hps) for flower
And do some proper research
If it’s leds your after I’d recommend looking for other alternatives the PZ didn’t satisfy me
Good luck happy growing

Yea unfortunately I bought them for my first grow back in the day an read that they were trash so I only use it to get my seedling past its first nodes then put it under my 1200w in my 4x4 tent this particular seedling is my first auto grow tho and it's so slow growing i didnt know if that was normal. I can tell its getting bigger jus didnt know if autos were slow growing at first or what. I usually grow photos in super soil or coco an they're usually at the second set of leaves by now (start of week 2)

I think they look great. Nothing wrong with alittle blurple. I just grew a beautiful GDP under one and the bud will couch you for sure. Enjoy the grow, thats the important thing. The little one looks very happy and healthy.

On a side question tho it's my first time growing autos and these mofos are growing so slow. like these are 2-3 weeks old and not even past the first leaves yet. Is it because I planted them straight in a 5 gal pot instead of a cup first?

That could be the case

Even autos should be started in a small pot or solo cup first. Then only once it's well rooted, planted into its final container. It's only the several stage "up-potting" you skip with autos.

I mean I can see progression in growth

Damn. Everywhere I read was saying to directly plant in your big container cause transplanting caused stress. Like I can tell they're growing but they are barely an inch or two tall

Theyll take off eventually. Just have to be careful how you manage it. Its spending all its energy for growing roots, and not much up top.
The other issue is the super soil. Did you put a layer of SS on the bottom and then fill the rest of the pot with regular, less hot potting mix on top? Or did you just fill the whole pot with super soil?
If it's all super soil the roots are going to grow Into it a lot more slowly than they would into a less nutrient dense mix. You want a young seedlings roots to go looking for food and water, not be bombarded with it.

I went by the book an put 1lb of ss in the bottom an filled 1/3 of pot then mixed well and filled the rest with just ocean forest soil.

that is definetely not the reason. When growing autos always plant in the pot you want it to live its life in. I always plant my autos straight into 5 gallon bags and they never have problems. As far as that one being 2-3 weeks old might be a runt.

Nice man!!!! Keep in mind you do NOT have 1200W, you have roughly 350W. In a 4x4 space that is adequate, but definitely not ideal. Should for at least 35W per square foot.

I use a Mars Hydro TS1000 (150 actual watts) in a 2x3 space. Come time to flower that simply won't cut it. Your plants look excellent tho, so I wouldn't worry too much lol

Cheers!

Thank you, my friend is gonna do autos & that's helpful, glad I came across this, gonna pass this on & get him to sign up here. I dont do things "normal" & I'd rather him have advice from people that do so I referred him here. Good people here

Be aware I'm not an auto guy. But a smoothly transitioned up potting should not slow them down, and theyll start way faster in a solo or something small for the first week or two. I do have a friend who does autos though, and he starts them in small pots and when they have about 6 sets of true leaves and the pot is rooted but not rootbound, he plants Into his beds outdoors in a greenhouse. He just skips the 1 gallon transplant step.
