infinity strains...and yes some names are the same strain, hopefully over the years evry1 is just calling them what they are......

Yes. Was listening to potcast, and have figured we have bottle necked around ten strains to make all the modern hybrids.
And since girl Scout cookies, this bottleneck has become more extreme. It's tough to find a strain these days without cookies in it.

This happens with any breeding based hobby fellas.. fish, dogs, snakes etc..
Since ive been at it ive seen northern lights, skunk, chem, and og dominate before the forum cut of gsc..
The fun of this hobby is that u can choose ur own adventure.. if u dont like what is dominating the market buy some landraces, make selections based on ur goals and get to chucking that pollen :)

i remember the days when we use to make up are own names , lots of white widow and ak mixed with what ever the older generation in my area were growing

First 2 are do-si-dos, 3rd Is granddaddy purple but i fucked her up when she was a seedling. Last 1 is 1/3 purple candy. Well I was told they were purple candy Gotham from a friend as babies.
